Yes, they are. F sport is now the base of the car . You have the real fsport With more features and packages, then the fsport model which is the basic but has fsport badges.
They talk about performance and performance. If she was with me, I would put a supercharger on her from RR Racing, which is specialized in modifying Lexus, and we will see who the performance is 😅😅😂 Because in its time it will become a fair comparison of a turbocharged engine with a turbocharged engine for reliability more
I was looking at a 2024 is 350 f sport. When I test drove it, I felt like there was a lag in acceleration at times. Anyone else experience something similar?
Throttle lag is very common among Toyoytas. I know that there’s pedal modules to help compensate for it, though. It allows you to control both throttle response and throttle sensitivity.
I’m sure lots of people do power mods on these but I wouldn’t want to void the warranty. And less than 30k would be difficult unless you buy the previous generation or one that’s been in an accident
Is350 is nothing but a pretty exterior shell and f sport is just a gimmicky appearance package. Get G70 3.3T or Stinger GT and you'll get way more for your money. Such as more room, way more power, brembos all around, bigger sun roof, I mean list goes on and on
Those cars are constantly getting recalls for fuel pumps and oil leaks. The Korean car brands are always cutting corners. If I wanna actually make it to my destination and not have a thousand rattles in the cabin after 50k miles, I'll take the Lexus.

You’re right. BMWs drive incredible but they’re just no reliable. The Maintanance is too expensive and too many things break overtime. That’s why I went with a Lexus, it’s for the Toyota reliability
Liked and subscribed. On the 27th of September, barely 16 days ago, I brought home an IS-350 F-Sport RWD. My wife and I consider it a good compromise between her '05 ES-330, and my 2013 MK6 Golf-R. Her car, while very comfy for long highway trips, lacks the cut-and-thrust of my R (which has a Stage 2+ tune, btw). On the other hand my car doesn't "sit well" with her for similarly long trips. This is especially true, in the comparative sense, when we take either car to the back roads of America in our travels. Plus, she doesn't drive a manual, which the mk6 (in the 2 years it was sold here) only came with a 6-speed manual. We came to select the '350 as a compromise mainly for reasons of ride comfort, and the 8-speed auto-transmission. This suited her priorities perfectly, as her ES was beginning to feel too large for her, and not as nimble as she grew to desire in a car. For me, the technical aspects of the car appealed to me enough to where I thought I could be satisfied with the idea of "driving a slow car fast". Also I thought I could learn to love driving this slow car fast on winding back roads: double wishbone front suspension, Torsen rear diff, dual injection of fuel (port and direct), very direct steering. Agile, and mobile, so to speak. My Golf-R leaves the '350 in the straight-line dust. But if the straight is short enough, a curvy road is where the Lexus has a chance to acquit itself very well, I think ( I hope). An added benefit is the larger fuel tank, and the solid reliability (if the wife's '330 is any indication). But the R has been very solid too. For now, I'm keeping the R, as I live in SW-Ohio, and may need it's 4-motion AWD in the unkindest winter-weather events where even her '330 might be challenged. Even though I grew up driving rear-wheel cars in the snow, why bother now ig I have better means of getting about? But I also wanted to return to a n RWD solution as part of my compromise. I'd considered an Alfa Giulia because it's a very good handling car, and it's nearly .5 second quicker to 60 than the '350. I think I give the latter the edge in steering. And the Lexus can be serviced at any Toyota dealership (one at every exit ramp), while the Giulia doesn't have that reassuring cross-country convenience. No BMW (not volunteering as a new-tech guinea pig). No Mercedes, basically for the same reason. Audi? nothing in the lineup moves me except the new RS3 ($$$$...cha-ching!!). That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Wish me luck. back atcha!
@alomar-12 I loved driving the Giulia. But for similar money, the 350 F-SPORT offers the peace of mind I'm looking for (when taking roads less traveled). I like my choice just fine. 👍

No it’s 15% but it was cloudy outside so it looked darker
Can you talk about how much you paid? How much down you put? And the insurance that would’ve been a more productive vid thx tho looking for a F sport.
$43K
fake engine noises is so cringe lol. At that point just give me a tesla
Very true, at least this car has the option to turn it off.
sound that's piped in is different from fake. and if you don't like it, you can disable it. two important notes.
You can turn it down and still hear the engine.
@@rocdaneweracap Hey mate! If you love Lexus reviews I have plenty on the IS350 and others. Feel free to check it out 😄
Yeah I had to figure out how to get out of mine
Actually not all are f sports.
The 2021+ IS 350s are all F Sports, I don’t think the previous generation is like that but, that was a change that they made when they did the refresh
Not true. 2021s are not all fsports
If you look up, “Are all 2021 IS 350’s F Sports” then it’ll tell you that they are. That was a new change that they made for the 2021+ models
Maybe you guys are talking about the IS 300’s.
@@TheeAdamG you’re right my bad bro. It was the 300 I was thinking of
He ssid all is 350s are f sport?
Yes, they are. F sport is now the base of the car . You have the real fsport With more features and packages, then the fsport model which is the basic but has fsport badges.
Hard to take the recommendations seriously with Pikachu and Winnie the Pooh in the background.
Don’t forget about Baby Luigi
@@TheeAdamG Nice 🤭
They talk about performance and performance. If she was with me, I would put a supercharger on her from RR Racing, which is specialized in modifying Lexus, and we will see who the performance is 😅😅😂 Because in its time it will become a fair comparison of a turbocharged engine with a turbocharged engine for reliability more
I wish lexus offered a plug in hybrid lexus is.
is this the lexus is350 Fsport design or regular fsport?
That’s just the regular one
How is the sound system on it? Like the bass and over all sound of it
the fully loaded package one got some good sound system. i like it
Which is that one,?

I was looking at a 2024 is 350 f sport. When I test drove it, I felt like there was a lag in acceleration at times. Anyone else experience something similar?
Throttle lag is very common among Toyoytas. I know that there’s pedal modules to help compensate for it, though. It allows you to control both throttle response and throttle sensitivity.
@@timtran1077 thank you for that. I didn’t know this was common.
Cockpit looks cramped
can you mod it to make it faster? Also could i buy one for less than 30k?
I’m sure lots of people do power mods on these but I wouldn’t want to void the warranty. And less than 30k would be difficult unless you buy the previous generation or one that’s been in an accident
22 is 350 fsport awd is 40k+
Yes u can make it faster
Is350 is nothing but a pretty exterior shell and f sport is just a gimmicky appearance package. Get G70 3.3T or Stinger GT and you'll get way more for your money. Such as more room, way more power, brembos all around, bigger sun roof, I mean list goes on and on
G70🤣
@@mr.a9352 you've clearly never driven one🫵🤡
Those cars are constantly getting recalls for fuel pumps and oil leaks. The Korean car brands are always cutting corners. If I wanna actually make it to my destination and not have a thousand rattles in the cabin after 50k miles, I'll take the Lexus.

I like the IS, but it just doesn't have the feel of a 3 series BMW.
You’re right. BMWs drive incredible but they’re just no reliable. The Maintanance is too expensive and too many things break overtime. That’s why I went with a Lexus, it’s for the Toyota reliability

no, it's a ported tube capturing the induction(intake) noise, not a speaker/fake noise, it's just not exhaust/scharger/turbo
You can turn that off and it still sounds good
Problem for me is that it kind of looks like a Camry which I’m not a fan of
looks completely different from a camry ...
The ES350 looks very similar to the Camry. The IS, not so much.
Yeah i don’t see how it compares. Saw an XSE the other day and it looks nothing like the new IS.
I love how it looks from the front. It’s more so the back of the IS that reminds me of a Camry.

Hey mate! If you love Lexus reviews I have plenty on the IS350 and others. Feel free to check it out 😄
Liked and subscribed.
Wish me luck. back atcha!
You definitely sound like you know what you want. Best of luck!
Alfa Giulia is junk, fact their entire lineup is full of costly engine / tranny flaws. Stay away from that brand.
@alomar-12 I loved driving the Giulia. But for similar money, the 350 F-SPORT offers the peace of mind I'm looking for (when taking roads less traveled). I like my choice just fine. 👍
Nice review. Thanks!
How do you modify the muffler?
I bought a muffler delete and replaced my stock axle back with that. It’s simple a bolt-on for this car. There’s no cutting or welding involved.
