Hey guys. She looks wonderful. The carapace and abdomen are a gorgeous olive green colour, and again with the markings on her abdomen. Great rehouse, very smooth and gentle. The whisperer at his best yet again. Take care both of you.
I love these videos your the only guy showing off the big bould and scary and rare, just to show us how to be safe and see wonderful animals that we all can enjoy
Great rehouse. Happy the beautiful enclosures are back. The pothos are very tough and will readily root. Tip to the thrifty. I love to see you orb weaver. Free range spiders!
I just ordered a calendar, Dave. I'm Bj from Facebook! When I get my calendar I intend to save it for keeps! Love your show and all the little beauties. 💕
I wonder if they named them before they realized the adults live high up or maybe they are called earth tiger because they are green (like earth) and stripy (like tigers). Either way she is gorgeous! Thank you, Camera Lady, for reading my mind and asking about the lack of height in the enclosure. I gasped when she finally opened her leg span to walk into her new home. She didn't look intimidating until that moment. Thanks, Dave and Camera Lady, for sharing this beautiful girl. 🕷❤
Earth tigers come in all colors, from purple to blue, orange to yellow, brown and black and gray. The name most likely comes from the characteristic stripes on the abdomens of these tarantulas in the ornithoctoninae subgroup that look like tiger stripes and that earlier classified members of the subgroup were mostly fossorial.
Brilliant stuff Dave, that's a stunning species of spider 🕷, the colour is very vibrant, anyway Dave that's another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Great video again of another beautiful spider! I actually am back in the hospital if you remember my previous post a few weeks ago! They did end up making me a amputee now just below my knee so your videos again are a welcomed treat to keep my mind off of everything! Cheers Mr Dave and Mrs camera lady! Font think I would have made it through all this without your channel! May sound stupid to some
amazing looking spider PROFF. love these videos with the information and education on the rehouse and care . a great video to add to the collection for the hobby to recap on. some great work CAMERA LADY capturing the colours. many thanks guys and take care
Humidity up high in the trees would be really difficult to duplicate with the daily fluctuations through out the day. Seems like movement of sun and its height in the sky along w the wind or no wind is a true challenge.
Beautiful spider. Great video. I wait every week for your new videos. What frogs do you have? I know you have the gorgeous Ottis. We have a pacman frog. Any interest in them? Xxx❤
Danielle caught our one for us last time I was there the look on her face and the muttered please don't bite me when it bolted up her sleeve will. Amuse me for years😂
She is absolutely stunning I just messaged you on Facebook I really hope I can get a calendar before they are all gone Great video I'll never get tired of watching you and camera lady 😊👍🏻
Hello! Another gorgeous spider and wonderful video. I'm hoping b you can help me out as I would love to purchase one of your calanders. But, I am not on any social media platforms, no Facebook or anything except watching UA-cam videos. How can I arrange to buy a calendar and pay for shipping to Mountain View, California, USA? Please help! Thank you, Kris
🐯🕷 i have a peach earth tiger, Phormingochilus. Sp Rufus.. but despite it being said to be an arboreal species i find mine likes to stay underground more often than not. Tarantulas are just so fascinating in that way
Hello Dave and Camera Lady. Is there a chance to get one of these fantastic calendars without a Facebook or Instagram account? Would be an amazing christmas gift for me. And like always. A fantastic video from a beautiful Spider. Love your content!
Wouldn't they also stay up in trees so they can catch and eat birds? and other critters that live in the trees I don't know. I was just a thought. Perfect ambush spider up high in the trees for a. unsuspecting prey.
One of my favourites right there. I have a grown on sling and no idea yet if it is male or female. I don't usually care but I really want this one to be a female.
Awesome video thanks for sharing. Do you have any OBT's still in your collection? I would love to see more of the OBT they are my favourite species of spider.
I’d love to know how many others watch your videos to see you get nagged more than to see the spiders. Todays quote. ‘I’m trying’ ‘You’re not!’ I feel for you Dave.
Well except for black widows I have grown to love many spiders . Especially tautantulas that a couple of my brothers and sisters had as pets.. I feel a lot more home with them and picking them up gently .
Hi guys. Glad to see that your move is going well, even though it's goin slower than you hoped. I am sure that you'll be very happy when you are in it. I was wondering how the Mossy Frogs are doing. They look like they are fun to keep and add to the collection. Hope you all have a Happy Holiday season.
Is it just me, or is there a second spider near that big Orb-weaver spider as your lady showed us the spider, I saw one in the back near your black blinds
The one you showed up around the light is here in the United States now and my daughter and her found one at his house and she took one picture of it with his hand under it and it was as big length wise as his hend, and he's a grown man. I also heard from an exterminator that another species is headed out way that flies. I told him I have 911 on speed dial because I'm really afraid of any kind. Now I will catch a snake in a heartbeat and I'm a 58 yrs old woman LOL 😆😆😆
Morning dave and the lovely camera lady... Beautiful beautiful spider. Great relaxed video, no dramas, i like that. May i ask a question, well 2... Firstly is there a point were one needs to completely rehouse an adult spider as in clear out everything in the enclosure its been in for a year or more, will it benefit from a fresh new start. Secondly what was the spider on the ceiling and why doesn't it escape, more thst 2 questions i admit, but if you could find time id be grateful, Merry Christmas when it comes, and a good and healthy new year to you both... Im definitely getting a calendar, one because its beautiful and two if i put it on my hall wall my sister wont just walk in unannounced 😂
Both questions can be answered if your an avid follower on Dave's videos but maybe he will be kind and answer, as there's a lot of videos these days to scroll through but all as interesting as the next
I only rehouse if the original enclosure is tired looking or if our spider is not settling or feeding or its behaviour has changed for the worse ? And the free roaming spider is an orb weaver and free to go where it wants ❤

You're very close to understanding why there are issues with some species and not others in both the larger tub and your sling pots. I'm willing to wager the majority of those problem child specimens were arboreal and/or termed moisture dependent by the hobby?
Hello Dave I have a serious question I just recently rehoused my avicularia Metallica now she will not eat she will attack the prey she will kill it but she will not eat it she'll bite the cricket or hornworm hold it for a split second then drop it and walk away please help any advice would be great I need to get this girl to eat
GOD loves us so much that HE gave us HIS SON to die on the cross for our sins and JESUS rose again in 3 days and whoever believes and accepts this will be saved and go to heaven and JESUS loves us and GOD saved me and GOD can save you to 😊
Your calendar is fabulous, once again this year. I love Andy's photography and so glad hubby bought one at the Brighton show 😍
Thank you Vanessa!! ❤

It's funny hearing you stumble over Latin plant names but casually reel off long spider names 😊😊
😁
Absolutely stunning 😍
Thank you!! 😊
Nice job Dave and camera Lady!! That is a very nice looking T for sure.
For some reason I was expecting a tiny creature we would struggle to see. Then 😮 whoah SPIDER !
I still think that you should put herb seeds in some of the enclosures and then you could always have fresh herbs on hand year round 😂
She's a beauty n luv her enclosure ..

I dont do well if my environment is too wet either
I’m excited to get the new calendar! I’m thinking of framing some of the pictures from last year and hanging them up in my spider room.
Great idea!!❤️
My Earth Tiger is roughly about 5cm so its still quite the diddy spood. Excellent vid as always dave and camera lady, shes a beauty.

Hi Dave 🕷 and Camera 📷 lady and happy holidays Dave and Camera 📷 lady.
Thank you 🙏 ❤️
She is lovely! I like the pale green on her carapace and the striped legs.
How do they compare temperament wise to phormingochilus? I find my phormingochilus are far bolder than my pokies
I find them quite shy ❤
Awesome video thanks for sharing.
Do you have any OBT's still in your collection? I would love to see more of the OBT they are my favourite species of spider.
Yes I have

Message me on Facebook my friend ❤
How do we contact you for a calendar if we don't have Facebook?
Use the email here ❤
Could we please get an update on how the funnel webs are doing and how the enclosures look after the rehouse a while ago?
Dave,
When you take your photos, go along to portrait mode. You get a much better photo
Hi guys. Glad to see that your move is going well, even though it's goin slower than you hoped. I am sure that you'll be very happy when you are in it.
I was wondering how the Mossy Frogs are doing. They look like they are fun to keep and add to the collection.
Hope you all have a Happy Holiday season.
Thanks so much! they are doing well ❤️
I wonder if you have seen Pantdora from AntsCanada? 🎉 I thought Asian arboreals would be beautiful in Orchadia ❤
The calendars are beautiful. But missing a small name and short Description about each spider. But I love the photos
Each photo is named ?
Hi, I was wondering if the mating temperature of the tarantula is important, right?
Some appreciate a change in temps
Is it just me, or is there a second spider near that big Orb-weaver spider as your lady showed us the spider, I saw one in the back near your black blinds
That looked like the shadow cast by the orb weaver to me.
@@DoctorPolski you might be right, it did look like another one was out, lol
Dave the abdomen looks a bit small, is she due a feed?
Yes she is but still a good size for maintenance ❤
The one you showed up around the light is here in the United States now and my daughter and her found one at his house and she took one picture of it with his hand under it and it was as big length wise as his hend, and he's a grown man. why does any tarantula live in a tree?
They are designed to be there
Yeah I don't think so! Absolutely no disrespect but you crazy 😧!
It sounds like she is not settling and feeling secure ?
Dave, you're hurting my ears. It's "THOSE (fill in the noun)," not "THEM (fill in the noun)."
creepy
