This was the only guide that worked for me as of the current update but I had to use Etn’s skill(s) at round 36, 97 and 100. Also had to use upgrade the support alchemist to 420 for the elite defender which helped. Edit: this map sucked so much, not because its challenging but because you really cant make allowances for even one single mistake. So thanks for this guide.
There were a couple times on the early round where I died due to a bit of RNG from Etienne's drone and the druid's thorns but otherwise it worked great. Unfortunately not perfect for a black border run because of that though
Thanks for pointing that out. Rest assured that in the , say 10, runs I tested there was no early game rng, otherwise I would point that out. On harder maps there is almost always a trade-off between easy-early game and easy-late game. For example, I have a strategy for ouch since November, yet I don't upload it yet because of the late-game rng which I am trying to minimize
Ngl for some of the guide I deviated from it (like when you got a 0-2-5 spike factory, when I got myself a 2-0-5 one instead) and they end game had me nervous that I messed up big time, but i was able to make it work anyway (by using Etienne's abilities to help ward off the bloons on the weaker pile) and got as much moab maulers as I could get (along with the embrittlement, from the tip in the comment section about saving an extra 600 cash) for the B.A.D. Other than my deviations and stuff, this guide works well, (at least till it becomes outdated) just go with the 2-0-5 spike factory ONLY if you want an extra challenge in ability microing...
Good to hear it still worked but 2-0-5 was unreliable even before the previous nerf in 45.0 . I have played a lot with p-spike and as long as you keep it alch-buffed, especially with a 4-2-0 specifically on it, you will never lose to ddts. 4-2-0 buffing 2 towers including p-spike, still works.
the final sniper (maim moab) is probably not the best way to go. A 4-2-0 ice near the tack would probably pop the BAD earlier. Also, buying a 4-0-2 village before buying any upgrades for the tack and glue would save about 600$, so you can have the ice + a 2-0-3 heli for round 100

I died on Rd 100 following this guide precisely. I changed up the main moab to your 4-2-0 ice near track and completed.
