    Needs some tail first flying to check tail performance and see what the limits are.

      I have done a ton of test flights on this tail blade. I have done quite a bit of tail first flying as well. Limits are just about there with any motor driven tail helicopter and or stock blade. You can only push them so far before the tail will eventually give out even with the stock Blade. I personally prefer the three bladed tail over stock

    Ive got a question about the main rotor thrust bearings. The manual isnt real clear on the orientation. Does the indented side on the outer rings face the inside towards the bearings?

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, if you go back on my channel I have a full video on how to rebuild the head and I explain each bearing and where they go and how they go

      @@westhobbiesrc8051 ok thanks ill check it out. I looked to buy this three blade but its not out yet I guess. I had one of the stock tail rotors break on me. Luckily I wasnt off the ground yet soo no crash.

    One thing I can’t figure out is why I can trim out and hover the real thing way better than I can on the simulator. I fly bigger helis on the sim too so I can see the dang things and they seem more stable but they still drift everywhere.

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  2 роки тому +1

      So trim is a funny thing, of course a simulator will never duplicate real life so it is extremely hard to get a helicopter to fly identical on a simulator as you can in real life. Just because there’s a lot of factors in real life that you don’t have on the Sim. Which simulator are you using? Because there is some things you can do

    Hello bro. Can you suggest me a radio other than the vbc. Because i just found out that my tx16s have a damaged antenna and i can’t choose which radio to get. So is there any chance you recommend one for me?
    Budget max 750

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  2 роки тому

      What’s up buddy, i’m not a V bar person so I personally never recommend their radios unless you absolutely love them. I just don’t like being narrowed down to one specific FBL unit. I am a spektrum person so I always recommend spektrum radios. There is a bunch of great options out there I personally fly a IX12 but that radio is no longer available as it is being replaced with the IX 14 that is coming out very soon. The NX 10 is a great radio as well and around $500 I believe

    • @Twx97
      @Twx97 2 роки тому +1

      @@westhobbiesrc8051 thanks you for the fast response ❤️. Do you think i should get the nx10 or wait for the ix14 + i think my uncle will give a trex 550x. Do you recommend 2 sats or 1

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  2 роки тому

      Of course! So anything bigger than a 500 I highly recommend two satellites. You can never be overly safe and cautious. The satellites are what holds your signal if you have an issue with one you still have a back up. TheIX 14 will be priced around $899 if you can wait and swing that I would say wait! It is going to be a incredible radio. But the index 10 is also a great radio as well you will get more options and features with the 14 of course. I really love my IX 12 and it will be a newer updated version.
