Fashion doll finds in France My top 5: Nancy Famosa, Corolle Girls, Moulin Roty, PetitCollin, Barbie

Traveling gives a great opportunity not only to enjoy a new place but also to find out what is on offer when it comes to dolls and how it differs from what I might find in a store in Australia or elsewhere in the world. Right now I am in France and one of my first expeditions has been to go to all the popular local toy stores to nut out what dolls we can buy here - both the ones I might find anywhere in the world like Barbie, Monster High and Rainbow High, but also some new dolls to discover and to learn about. There is an interesting mix of Spanish fashion dolls as well as French fashion dolls available here.
I was really happy to find dolls my the Famosa company, as I already know the vintage Nancy doll and the reeditions, but I have never been able to buy them locally before. The Famosa company also makes other dolls including the "Unique Eyes" girl, who looks like she would be a great companion to Takara Blythe and also to the Rainbow High and OMG dolls.
As well as these I found the VIP Girls, another doll made by a Spanish company who started with the VIP Pets line and moved to these over-the-top girl dolls who are now gaining popularity across the world.
As for local French dolls, the Moulin Roty company produces beautiful fabric dolls who come in increibly pretty, display-worthy boxes. The Sergent Major children's clothing brand has a very sweet child doll called "Mon adorable Poupee" who really lives up to her name and comes with great fashions to match the child who might own her. Petitcollen and Corolle are also very well-regarded French doll companies with a long heritage and there are lots of doll varieties, including collectible and fashion doll styles to choose from.
All in all, the toy stores here are rich in new doll choices. I would love it if you left a comment as to who you like best and if there is a doll who you would love to see me review.

I loved this tour around the toy stores. It is wonderful to see what toys and dolls there are around the world. Thank you for sharing with us. My favorite doll was in third place. I loved its size and that it has many suitable clothing sets that I can use for my bjd kid girl from Raccoondoll. ❤
