Natedogg 12 Just get you a welder and a angle grinder and get your steel from a scrap yard and you can really do anything with those tools
Just do it by hand like me
I'm with Paul, I still work souly by hand, power tools are expensive yo, but getting things done isn't impossible without them.
So spend 60 bucks on a good angle grinder, and knock out a project

Just got back from the range, and shooting a Mossin Nagant for the first time now I get to watch a relaxing satisfying ZNA build video. I guess sometimes life doesn't completely suck.
was about to hate for how long this video has taken and the fact that your still doing a fallout 4 build, then I watched for like 10 seconds and I remember why I love your vids lmao
Stop smoking your drill bits on the steel stuff.. lol. Slow speed cuts faster and helps your bits last longer. Drilling a pilot hole with a smaller bit first also helps a lot.
Oh and stop using those shitty hollow pull rivets.. they don't last long at all for stuff like this. Learn how to make your own rivets out of round steel and hammer each end flat on an anvil.

Aero Trace I'm pretty sure I have quite a bit. I was saying he was dumb because Eli already takes about a month to make a video and if he spends double the time making his own rivets instead of just popping them we will have to wait even longer. It's not like he's using these weapons every day. He tests them then probably doesn't touch them for weeks.
When you bend the diamond plates, can't you weld the inside parts together to reinforce the bent edge? (otherwise it would still be a weak point)
Blaaze fox he's done that many times in previous videos. This time, he either didn't think it needed more strength, forgot about it, or just didn't show us
I couldn't see the welding, so I didn't really now.
And it feels like a heavy smash with this could potentially be a lot of force on these edges.
I think he did not weld it because he is a bad welder and did not want to ruin the build. But he just has to remember a grinder and paint will make you the welder you aint

You might want to put a hand guard/cover in front of where your fist goes. It shouldn't take you very long, nor should it be very much effort. Just bend some diamond plate into the correct shape and rivet it to the frame around the grip area.
You should probably add this before you film your testing video, maybe even show you building it in that video. I wouldn't want you to bust your hand, or chip a nail, or to have some other ghastly form of harm come to you while butchering fruit and veggies.

This is one of my new favorite things by you. One of the few weapons I've made was a big metal gauntlet but it didn't have blades or anything, something about it surrounding your hand just feels super cool though!
