USB ports eventually fail usually before anything.else on the device. Klein should have put a removeable.battery in the device. Once the usb port takes a crap, then what??? Cant charge it, they also should have put a green laser on it, green is a shorter wavelenth than red, thus the light beam would be twice as bright or brighter with the same power consumption as red.
my issue with rechargeable is sometimes it dies mid job, and now you have nothing but your phone and those are pricey haha. Its easier for me to have batteries and just swap new ones in if need be.
When I plug it in to USB to charge it, the little light flashes red. I have charged it for over 8 hours and it still flashes red. Will it ever turn green ?
Mine don't work unless I smack it. I can't seem to take it apart enough to fix it.
I personally like the Klein 56411. It has a USB C charger and is waterproof. You can get the BBM6411 if you want the same flashlight with a clip.

Amen: with the price we pay for Klein stuff give us fast charge USB-c braided cable. Of course Klein isn't the bad guy they all do it.
Compared to Milwaukee prices, and with all the features this one has, I think it's a steal!
6 hours on high and 12 hours on low? NO NOT EVEN CLOSE! about 1.5 hours on high and 2 hours on low. I have this flashlight, I know.
