After spending the recent 20/21 season with the Boston Bruins, this former 3rd round draft pick and 2011 Stanley Cup champion left the NHL behind after 15 years exclusively in the Bruins organisation and took his talents back across the pond to Europe for the first time in 17 years. So that begs the question: whatever happened to David Krejci? Watch to find out!

Nothing happened with Krejci. He decided to go to the Czech Republic, which in fact, he is doing quite well in.

There was zero issues with krejci he told the bruins flat out he was going home to play int he chec league and raise his kids around family. Much respect to the man he was the most underrated bruin the entire time he was with the team.
Great video though all the best to krejci your were a beast for the B's and I'll miss you 9n the roster

Krejci was always my favorite player, he will be greatly missed, but I respect his choice. He’s been away from his family for all of these years, can’t blame him for wanting to be closer to them (especially after all of this chaos)

46 will be hanging in the rafters at the Garden. Watched him when he playing for Providence as a kid. He was/is a gifted player. It showed. No Bruins fan has any negative things to say about Krecj. He’s a Bruin God. The Bruins do need him this season though, but I’m happy he’s back home with his family.

I don’t mean this as an insult at all, but I’m low-key impressed that you were able to turn “David Krejci retired from the NHL” into almost a 20 minute video 😂

Especially considering that he’s crushing it in Europe and is going to put the Czechs on his back in the Olympics.

Krejeci is in top 10 on the bruins scoring list and i wouldn't be shocked of his number 46 is retired to the rafters of the td garden one of these days

Interesting video but this lacks key context in several areas that shows somewhat of a lack of basic NHL knowledge.
For example, you say that during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons, Krejci "played his least amount of games each year since his injury-riddled 15-16 season half a decade ago, but he was still producing strong scoring numbers..."
The 2019-20 season was suspended and the Bruins only played 70 games that year, of which he played 61 (87%). The 2020-21 NHL season was a sprint season that only included 56 games per team, of which Krejci played in 51 (91%). There weren't any unusual injury or lineup issues for him, the league literally didn't play the normal amount of games those years (typically it's an 82 game season).

i don’t think this video was entirely necessary. krejci had an extremely good career, albeit very underrated. he retired from the NHL to get to the czech republic to play and be with his family. again, not sure this video is necessary

So originally the Bruins had enough money to bring him back but after signing some players they didn’t have enough money. Crate she didn’t want to play for any other team and he wasn’t going to take a lowball deal. it was convenient also bc he wanted to go back home. Maybe he comes back to Boston later
