When I was a little guy, My dad would bring home movies. One of our favorites was Switzerland. It was a great depiction of the mountain people and country. I fell in love with that area. The sound of music was another great childhood movie. I still like that one. Some day I'd like to Motorcycle through Germany, Austria, Switzerland,. Another movie was Von Ryans Express with Frank Sinatra. Lots of the Italian Alps
i was an American soldier in the '70's, played guitar on weekends with a German pop band. In addition to the Rolling Stones and Eagles and such, we played the occasional German waltz or two-step. I learned to love this one most of all.
I know what you mean bro but read the Tyrolean History. Before I would give Tyrol to Germany, we would rather be Italians. No offense meant, it also depends on where you come from Austria.
