WINTER SNOW
1. The winter snow, it is hard.
The winter snow, it is cold.
As cold as my soul.
As cold as my soul.
My summer love turned to fall.
It's colors faded to gray,
and cold seized my day,
as love walked away.
But this winter will pass.
It's been with me too long.
I can hear spring a'callin'.
It's time to move on.
Like winter snow, I can melt
not frozen by pain
but flowing again.
2. I feel a warmth in the air.
I see the light of the sun.
Is winter soon done,
and healing begun?
I find I'm longing for love,
new love that offers a door,
a door into spring,
and winter no more.
And this winter will pass.
