You know, I miss the voyager crew, I only hope the next Star Treks,... can hit that spot, the spot that each of the Star Treks series has always managed to hit, MR Robert Picardo, is the only one we see much of these days, Luckey.
The only worse thing than voyager was enterprise. Both shows were just terrible, voyager had a few good things about it, this gentleman being one of them, but over all pretty horrible. Star Trek discovery is likely to be horrible as well. You know it's just going to be a conglomeration of terrible cgi and mundane plots. The thing that will irritate me the most is the fact that they have like a monthly quota of how many woman and minorities they have to have in the show because it's 2017. Is the captain not is a black woman right? So it's going to be like voyager but worse where there is like twenty episodes dedicated to the fact a woman can do the job just as well. We don't need that, that's why deeps space nine was great there were never episodes like that, we know a black man could be a captain, they did not shove it down our throats like voyager did, and how this new show will likely do as well. You know actually there was something worse than enterprise, the tng movies. They are just cancer and should not be included in the continuity of the franchise.
Tegan Carr To be honest, it sounds like you've totally missed the point of Star Trek, It's nothing to do with aesthetics, we all knew some of the sets just didn't cut it, but that was the times back then. Personally, It was the story line that always got my interest, It dealt with prejudiced, ethics, humanity, It's inspired people to research technology and much more, though, something tells me you already know this. My only hope is if,... humanity can survive this century, never bloody mind to the 24th century.
