      Brian M I think that he knew how to do it right the whole time,he was just being lazy and cheap. I think he got tired of fixing things over and over again and now he knows that it's better to do things right the first time and be done with it. He must've got tired of being lazy and having to spend more money in the end by replacing parts along with the labor that it takes fixing things multiple times. Some people just have to learn the hard way but,at least now he's on the right track.

  • @eddean5090

    Good video lad's .
    But Wiseco piston in my opinion was not a good choice for a kid's bike not because they're bad but because they are too good. billet pistons have tightest tolerances and that means longer warm up times and faster service intervals.
    That alone can take some fun away from the bike where a cast piston you can be a little reckless on warm up times and service intervals because the piston is a little softer alloy

    • @FloridaMan0561
      @FloridaMan0561 4 роки тому +1

      PHANTOM DROPHEAD The cold temperature constricts the metal to a smaller diameter,it allows the bearings to slip into place easier when being installed and when they warm back up to room temperature,the bearings retract back to their former size and seat themselves in place properly.

    Why 40.1 on the mix the manual says 30.1 on my 2017. How long did the rebuild take? I know I’m at the point where the top end needs to be rebuilt due to the amount of hours on it. I’m by no means educated on motorcycle mechanic I’m wondering if I should just do a full rebuild and just have the sense of a new bike. I guess I’ll know once I get the top end off and see if theirs is any free play to the cam. And if I don’t have all the speciality tools could be a days build?

    You still haven't learned to do a leak test. Should always leak test a 2 stroke to make sure it isn't sucking in air making it lean. You always just hone cylinders and put on new pistons and rings. You guys never measure bore for out of round or taper or take to shop for fresh bore. Yes they may run but fresh bore and leak test should insure they run great for a long time.
    Like someone else said never hone nikasil coated cylinder, you will ruin it.
