The base game is a lot better without all the server plugins, its actually a viable E-sport to be honest, but the best part about hl2dm is that you can use the source code from it to create your own source multiplayer mods!

Yeah, Half life 2 Deathmatch was crazy back then, I used to play with a valve employee in a well known server. now its just random shit.
