Nice informative way of explaining how the device "tames" the throttle. It's most helpful for coming off idle when the throttle feels most "snatchy" when trying to hold a low RPM.
My 24 300EXC came from dealer with the agressive cam installed but a smaller diameter cam was provided together with the bike. Same was with my 18 Husqvarna FE350 when I bought that years ago.
When I put a Vortex ECU (set to map 1) in my 24 XWF 350, my throttle became way too sensitive and I couldn’t control all that intense power for tight single track riding. I don’t want to switch to map 2 (less explosive power) Therefore, my only fix is to switch to the tamer cam correct? Thanks Jeff for sharing your knowledge with us. Happy Trails Y’all!
If I purchased a set of the odi grips would this work on my 23 Sherco 300sef? BTW, the Sherco does not come from the factory with a push cable, only pull. Keep up the good work Jeff.

Glad you liked it

These come stock with alignment marks. You can clearly see them in the video at the 7 o'clock position
I was about to comment the same thing...odi thought about it. you can't go wrong

Hello:
Yes, a throttle tamer will help BUT why not just switch maps? Just takes a minute.
@@slaverace1Thanks Jeff. I will try Map 2 ASAP and test it out before the Snow flies up in Teller Co. Thanks for answering my question.
What cam (letter) are you referring to from the odi grip set?
So the black one is the mild one I suppose 🤔 😊
The closer the holes are together the more mild it is, so yes.
Can you share the cam letter?
Hello:
Sorry, I don't know the cam letter.
Will these work on the new small TBI bikes like a TC150?
Yes
@@slaverace1 Do you happen to know the model on the cam you're recommending? (Cam A, Cam S2, etc...). Thanks!
