In Australia, south of the Equator, they would say that pushes Right and they would be right. In America they might say it pushes from the left but still pushes right. In other places something moving right can be called pushing left, i guess. does pushing something one direction make it go the oposite direction. Ease of use is boring so weve come up with ways to throw that in a wood chipper and by throwing in the woodchipper I dont mean throwing any other direction, even below the equator
I am a beginning intermediate AP user (and very old photog) just starting to understand and appreciate the various tools of liquify and distort filters. Thank you so much!!! No one else, including Affinity, has explained your terrific use of masks in this persona especially moving back to Photo and using a mask to subtly undo a distorted push/pinch, etc.
Great. I am switching from Photoshop and still learning. You seem to change the size of the liquify brush with a keyboard command? I hear clicking sounds. Can you please clarify how you do this?
Hi there! Yeah of course. I believe the default keys are the left and right bracket keys “[“ and “]” Even though I have changed my keys for changing the brush size to something else more convenient for me, in the liquify persona the two bracket keys change the brush size. I actually plan on making another video about all my keyboard shortcuts since I have customized them a lot to speed up my workflow.

Now THAT is something to think about! 🤔
Thank you - this was very helpful and answered many of my basic question about Liquify
Excellent! I’m really happy to hear that! It’s a very powerful tool if used correctly.
Excellent - demystifies a lot of myths re liquify persona. Thanks for posting
Thank you. Yeah, I feel like liquify has a negative image. But it’s really useful for correctly certain things to help the image look more natural.
