Step 1 of quarantine morning routine:
Remi’s vlog: done ✅
I love my instant pot & make pot roast all the time. l like to put all seasonings into a bowl then pat your dry rub on the roast. Sear meat on all sides using the "saute" mode on the IP. Remove meat. Saute onions only. Add back meat. Add liquid. Cook meat using "pressure" mode for desired time. Then Add veggies & cook for additional 8-10 mins.

I've been binging remi's blogs so hard during quarantine !!
WAIT! 😫 When ever you roast any red meat, sear it (e.g. brown it). Remove from cooking vessel and sauté your mirepoix (carrots, celery and onion). Then add your meat and liquid. You may also consider adding your potatoes after you use the pressure cooker and just boil them for like 10 minutes on the sauté feature.

With beef stew I would recommend making it with beef stock and a bit of wine but it looks amazing and your house is incredible 🙌🏽

I’m a huge pot roast lover! I love these types of homestyle cooking. I usually do a seasoning packet myself from the store. Basically you want salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, parsley, garlic, onion. I’ve never done the seasonings you added but I’ll try next time!

I just want to say it can be really dangerous to fill the instant pot up all the way! If there’s not enough space, the contents can block the release valve and prevent the steam from releasing. Please be careful!!
