You’re the only man dedicated to making garage luthiers a legit builder option. You show how to do things with everyday equipment that you don’t need special knowledge of or a million bucks to get started.
I’m going to put together a kit I’ve had for a few years. I think with watching these videos I can start there. Just don’t have the time to start from scratch so I’m doing baby steps!!!😁🤣😂
You’ve become my favorite guitar dude on the tube. You’re work is outstanding and honest. Keep it up man. You give us home luthiers a hope that we can do something great.
Anyone that has bought both expensive and cheap tools in the past 20+ years can attest to the drop in quality of the really expensive tools. Anyone that saves the working man some money on tools is a friend to me. Thanks Sean. Now I'll have to attempt to make a guitar fret board with some nice inlays.
Great Job o nthat neck! And great job on the Paduk guitar pic tray! I just received it and did an unboxing with it. look for that one soon as well as a sanding/ tru oil video
Sean, I just did a complete neck adjustment, fret level and recrown on mine. It was just a wall hangar until you showed me how to do it. 60 bucks on amazon for a giant bag of tools and it was done in 20 minutes. Your a master man! Thanks.
Great Thank you You are a MASTER Craftsman Journeyman Luthier Your talent has obviously matured greatly WOW So good bro Love you man Cliff Nice camera work too So proud of you What an example you are And a good good teacher
Keep crushing these videos. These guitar necks turn out so darn good. For those that do not understand what Sean is showing you it is the difference between a custom shop feel and a factory guitar. What Sean is making is like art to unlock a guitar neck. You should call the next video "Secrets to a custom shop guitar neck..."
Sean, you make it look so simple. I have the fancy Crimson file set, and agree, the cheap Amazon is quick. But for fret end rounding, I use a better one. Great tips and shortcuts
similar to your work with the razor blade, i like to go over the frets+fretboard with steel wool, really gets in there and cleans up the frets and removes any crap from the wood
Awesome video. Wish I saw this video before I attempted to fret dress my guitar. I definitely spent too much money on tools. But you are restoring my faith in DIY guitar lutherie. Thank you!
I really like your videos you shoe a lot of good advice I’m subscribed to your channel and I always give you thumbs up and love your guys humor I can tell you guys really love eachother
very cool Sean, I was going to ask if you round over the edge of the fret board, then bam... there you go. cool. Too bad nobody makes a fret rocker without those annoying points on them. :)
Great vedios! I purchased the guitar tools ,after watching you! I may not make a guitar, but I cab check my guitars after watching you make it so easy!😎
Been watching a bunch of your videos lately. I recently ordered a Warmoth neck to resurrect an old beater Squier strat. The original neck has a minor twist in it that cause areas to fret out with low action. Your videos have inspired me to get a few more tools. I'm going to try to radius the fingerboard from 9.5 to a 12 and do my first refret.
Player Shaun you have some game man that originally made music is cool and I think you got talent for more than scaring my guitars! Thanks for the playing guitar opening
Honestly, it's a little difficult to trust a tool that calls itself a "Guru," and I'm too thrifty (euphemism for cheap) to pay more than a Benjamin for a fret tool. So, the news about the cheap Amazon tool just made my day.
I can’t believe one douchebag unliked this video. I love all your videos! Would love to come down to your workshop someday. I only live about an hour and a half north of you. Not sure how your wife would feel about that, being I’m a woman, but I am a lesbian, so maybe she would like it!

Any extra time spent on frets is time well spent.
Awesome "Fretting" SCARRED
I love how you explain stuff in simple terms.

I learn a lot from your videos, thanks, man.
Wow 😳 starting with 80 grit!
I thought I was starting rough with 220.
Good to see you explain what you are doing 🤓
Thanks for keeping it simple and not making it into a royal pain in the ass project that just discourages the hobby builder like so many others do.

Very cool!
Finished the refret on the Squier neck and I'm pretty happy with the result, plays nice.
Thanks Sean for the videos.

Thats a damn nice looking guitar 🎸

Watchin’ through these videos for the second time. I feel scared for life spiritually brotha!

Dude I love the triforce on the headstock very geek-chic I would love to rock that neck. its boss for real
Eggs and grits before talking about sanding grits.
If me, and Sean can do it, ya'll can too!
Eggs n' grits-frets n' riffs!!
What does the man who makes the tools to keep things straight use keep the thing straight that keeps the things straight
Got my entry, I hope i win my first decent electric guitar

@@paulscushschofield1288 Stay safe too bro!
The best comment!
I would break my rule for the cross axe.....
I need to level myself out before I even think about levelling my frets
Me.. This SH. T is easy, I can do it.. After fretdress, pick up a fret rocker.. OG this rocks more than The Rolling Stones
"You big dummy!", as Fred would say.
Sean the speed sander.
Take 2 and hit left.

I "Wander" if you'll choose this comment!
80 grit???? Wow.
Yep!Works perfectly as demonstrated lol
yeah i thought that was too rough too but those are stainless frets, 80 will get you there faster! lol
