I love this project and I did it using a cereal box and a file folder from the dollar store and it came out just beautiful. Keep crafting your project are Great!👍
This place I go to I have noticed employees are always looking for scrape paper to jot something down. These would make a wonderful secret Santa gift for both guys & gals. Thank you once again for your talent and gifting your ideas to us. Keep safe & well.
Sherri, I want to thank you. I watched one of your instructional videos, where you talked about not getting overly excited and trying too many projects, before becoming proficient in an area. You suggested that we get good at one area, such as boxes, before moving to another. I have taken that to heart, you are so smooth that whatever you make looks so easy. I have found that I do need to practice, a lot! I’m getting better, and learning what works for me, and what adjustments I need to make. I look forward to becoming proficient…thanks.
I love the community shares. I have learned, and am learning how to do my best to keep paper from cracking when thick. Watch how Sherry, does both sides, and works the grain on that thick paper. Making the paper not crack, or binding in a skill to master. I have good times and bad keeping it from cracking. I can’t say watch enough to follow her tips. Practice all you can with some scraps like Sherry tells us. Working with tape is a skill on its own. I am diligently working with that still. Sherry makes applying paper etc so easy, or removing backing. It takes practice. Lining paper sometimes is hard with tape. No second chance to reapply. This project was great. Love she is using a box. Just felt like sharing. Enjoy your shares to Sherry, on so many videos everyone. This really is a great community. Thanks Sherry for being our mentor. Paper Crafting, Paper Therapy. 🤩 Have a good weekend, Jennifer.
I made one of these for my granddaughter's birthday next month with party paper, black background and lollipops, stars and blow noise makers. I showed my husband and he said, "Oh, that's just what I need for when I make my grocery list and I go shopping! Perfect size and I can put my pen in it! Thank you baby! " That's really cool! Now I have to make another one for my granddaughter! Lol Thank you so much Sherry! I just love your videos and your ideas!
I love these little notebooks but I would make it so they can be refillable.Instead f gluing it in permanently, I would make a strap and slide it under that, similar to the other one that you made. Thanks for your great ideas. I just happened upon your channel. All these notebooks are great gifts and not too difficult to make
Hi Sherry, I have just decided that I am no longer going to be surprised at the projects that you come up with. My dear, you are just creative and talented. Thank you so much for always putting good inspiring ideas out here for us. These projects are allowing me to get rid of so much of my stash and old paper supplies for great giftings. Many Blessings to you!!!!!!!!!!
I don't have any gift boxes but I am going to use poster board pieces that I have I think they would work great too. thank you Sherry these will be great for teacher gifts.
First I want to thank you for sharing your talent with us. Can you show us some craft ideas using the Dollar Tree flexible poly 3 ring binders? Some of the prints are cute.
Mz Sherry, I just made one like this using chipboard. The paper cracked (really bad), but I refused to through it away because the paper was so pretty. So I just added embellishments to cover the cracks. I got so tickled when I saw today's project. Kind of an affirmation all was well. I will post later today after I time out from work. I am going to try the gift boxes for my next one. Having Fun Crafting!!!!
This is something that I think will be in my Christmas box. Making a Desktop Accessory Basket for a Christmas Gift. Thank y’all so much for sharing this with us. Jewels 💎
Nice! Might be able to use the dollar tree poster board as well. I’ve glued 2 pieces of that together using reptile glue and was surprised how “stiff” it ended up being. Tfs!!
Wow! This was such an amazing video! I loved how you were able to use a dollar tree item to create this craft. I love dollar tree craft videos. Thank you for making this one!
So amazing. Yes you have inspired me. Would love to go to a big Dollar Tree store. The ones around here doesnt have every thing you said that came from Dollar Tree. I could spend hours there. Lol. Thanks for a great video.
Hi Ms Sherry, such a lovely and amazing project 😊 I like to know if you can make a little holder you can put in your purse for business cards. Business cards sizes: basic vertical 2 in. x 3 1/2 in. and square 2 1/2 in. × 2 in. 1/2 Thank you so much 💓
I love your tutorials. I often sit in church with kiddos around. I'd love to be able to give them a little activity booklet or folder that can keep them quiet and entertained for a bit .. Like stickers, crayons, blank paper, cute things like that, but small enough for their mom's to put in their purse when they are done with it. Do you have anything like that? Or would you make something like that? :) Thank you for your videos!
Sherry, watch your UA-cam all the time and love love your work. Do you have s video on paper pads with a pen attached. Thank you and keep your videos coming.
I’m sure you’ve said this before… lol. Cereal boxes can be broken down and used just like the gift boxes but if you and your family eat a lot of cereal such as mine then you’ve already got it and don’t have to buy anything extra. Lol
I have never noticed those notepads, but I WILL be looking for them now. I absolutely love this idea and I happen to have several of that size gift boxes already! Yay me!!! Thanks again for sharing! I love watching your channel!
