i have a fronius 2200 trans steel, im confused as to what setting i should be welding with, i currently have some 308lfco .35 wire, but i cant tell if i should be using the setting you are using or if i should be using self shielded wire setting. either way. right now im not getting much of a flux coating and a black area around the weld. id like to be able to use this on some thinner stainless to do repairs in commercial kitchens.
Make sure you are running the wire in standard electrode + . The ground will stay - I suggest running it in the self shielded program or manual mode . Check out weld settings for the wire here www.amazon.com/Blue-Demon-308LFC-stainless-gasless/dp/B00G5GHA7E
I've got 14ga stainless with .030 stainless fluxcore and c25 welding butt joints. What settings would ya recommend? I'm thinking I've gotta hot and fast because I'm pretty lumpy but don't need burn through. Thanks and nice video
I'm running some Select Arc 308L-AP, in .035 - welding 2" Sch 40 pipe currently. Any ballpark on parameters? I'm running around 24.7V and 325 IPM currently - it's definitely hot!! Also, running C25.
Right on.. yeah it seems a bit hot, and it’s tricky to keep sight of the puddle at the heat I’m running. I’ll try dropping it down a bit. Otherwise, it’s an awesome wire!!
Beautiful for a dual shield flux core just outstanding performance!
I’m definitely impressed 💯
Thanks for watching Gary 👊
Impressive with both gases man got to get some for a test in my welder ! Thanks guys just outstanding!
Stainless flux cored makes it super easy with great results on most stainless applications
DC+ or DC-???
Thanks
DC +
very cool - keep em coming
+Buster's Industrial Yeah buddy
Question what about an open butt weld vertical 30 wire?
Any tips for running 1/16" overhead?
Fluxed core for stainless? Awesome!
So good 🙏

Very nice with a very expensive welder !

I would start by dropping the volts by 1.5 and wire feed by 15 in increments until the heat and wire match to the application

Can this be used with 98%argon 2% CO2 ?
No, too much argon and not enough nitrogen/helium, or carbon dioxide
Is there a way to get ahold of you or what's the best way to find the closest dealer to me? I live in MN.
You can email me your contact information to Bliven.Christopher@Fronius.com - I’ll try and give you a call
You can run c02 all day long it works well you will lose travel speed though
Yes, I do prefer the CO2 especially since it’s cheaper and the bottle lasts longer
