I think Elvis would have been so proud that the royal Philharmonic orchestra put their beautiful orchestra to so much of his music.
Yes, and I hope the RPO does even more of Elvis classics, especially his most neglected ones. Elvis had to be practically forced into doing this song. He wasn't in the mood for rock n' roll at that time. He was occupied with his hurt. I like Dennis Linde's other songs that Elvis recorded "I Got A Feeling In My Body" and "For The Heart."

They’ve “redone” a lot of his songs with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since he passed. It adds a whole new sense of richness to these songs. Not that they needed any help to begin with. But it’s added more power and depth to them.
I haven't heard this song in 40 years. Yet, while I was singing along, every word came back to me. Isn't that weird. Just for reference, I am a cancer patient in chemo, and last week on the phone with my daughter-in-law, I had to ask her what my son's name is. LOL

"Burning Love " came out in mid 1972 just before the disco dance popularity started. So with that said most were starting to dance disco style.

Simone thank you for playing the king that right there should show you why he is the king they took a lot of his songs like a few years back and put the Royal harmonica or orchestra I guess you call him from Monaco Royal Philharmonic Orchestra I'll get it right but you know what I'm trying to say to even enhance his wonderful voice anyway back in the day we did the twist we did stuff called the dog we did stuff called the Boogaloo the swim the jerk just all kind of crazy names out of the 60s the watusi it was but it was just good old-fashioned rock and roll beat bop dancing I don't think kids nowadays don't know how to dance like we did back then and we could specially slow dance what I said all that for nothing also I would like to add on if I am one of your faves I only click on for Elvis sorry the time I get around 2 checking out all the Elvis songs for the day and commenting or commenting to my friends back and forth on UA-cam I don't really have a chance to listen to all the songs that I would like to listen to cuz a lot of them are from my past cuz I'm 75 years old so that would give me a lot of old Tunes to listen to they remind me of the 50s and the 60s when I was at my Peak my teens and my twenties not that I didn't do so good in my thirties and forties but you can't hardly rock and roll it 75 but you sure can listen and watch AKA Elvis Junkie

Love this song!! especially with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. I've also been to one of his concerts with the RPO and it is truly amazing, you'd think he was physically there because the atmosphere was electric !! It was an experience I'd never forget!!!

The master is s far more superior !! This was done after elvis passed away !! It didn't work on every track ... I wonder what elvis would of thought with them tampering with his works of art ... that he always perfected !! The start to f the video is him rehearsing !!
The original version by bought and it was released it not 1973 it was released in 1972 I bought it then the original version studio version is the best one unlocked better than this version recorded the way Elvis wanted it
