I noticed that the two blinking led lights didn't automatically stop blinking, this is usually
caused by a bad stepper motor, broken gear or broken arm that is connected
to the stepper motor.
So they are supposed to stop on it's own?

Yes, the climate control will stop the automatic test by itself but if you have to turn off the ignition or push a button to stop it then something is wrong.
@@gamerepair2020 thank you for the response and for bringing some good news. But I have a problem, when I put myAC on automatic and on cold it beryl blows any air inside. Only thing that works if setting the fan manually to the speed I want or setting the temperature to the lowest.
P.S heat works perfectly 🤷♂️

I have the same clicking noise on my C200. It has got to do with the stepper motor. My mechanic told me that the dashboard will need to be taken out to access. It's gonna be painful so I just delay the repair.
hate to tell you...its going to get worst. Mines started like that 6yrs ago and now only AC is blowing on my feet. And that reset he did didn't work for my c240. Now my heat barely works, so now I have to fix it.
@@natarsiaflournoy8109 I had mine done 2 years' ago. I was luck only the stepper lever broke. It is plastic based and doesn't cost much. The workmanship is another story.

@@AmazingRoad what are you adapting? Adapting means almost the same as change. So from what are you changing to what? Was the question now clear enough?
@@mitjademitrijcernac9204 Adaptation is recommended when a system component is changed.
In this case, the HVAC system is composed by many components.
The ones often changed are: filters and gas.
This adaptation should be made after you clean the system, fill it up with gas, or change the filters: both the exterior one (above the battery), and the AC ones (below the glove box).
This is my opinion, and feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
I think it does flap testing and if you have stuck or broken flap the test won't stop, so after the LEDs begin to blink maximum 1 minute after this they should stop, if they wont stop, you have flap problem

I am getting much colder air from the passenger vents than I am the driver vents. Do you know what might be the issue? I tried this adaptation of damper climate control. Did not think it would solve my issue but simple enough to at least try. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I had the same on an E class and it was fixed by re-gassing the system.
Key on engine off or engine running? Does it matter? What position does the direction knob (feet, face, windshield) need to be in? Again, does it matter? I did this and it cycles forever? Just turned the car off after 20 minutes. Still no windshield defrost. Thanks for the video though. Starts you in a direction.

Hello. I have a problem with my nonfacelift clk200 . The AC is running all the time . When i turn on the fan on any temperature (28 ° 29° ) doesn't matter , still working the AC even if i turn it on/off. Cold air came all the time . Any of you had this problem or do you have any idea what coud be ?
Robert Ionut Push the EC button. The red led light in this button should be on in order to switch off the AC compressor. EC stands for ECONOMIC.
What about the heat? Mine is blowing cold air in even though both heat switches are on max ( 26 deggres )

Oneal Sanchez it wont help because those tapping noise happen when something is broken (plastic needle) inside your circulation aircond or the motor is broken down and try to rotate those plastic needle
If you haven't fixed it already, there's a tutorial on youtube, just search clicking noise w203. (it's not an easy fix, i can tell you that much)

hey, I have the same issue with my radio saying PROD, and my a.c. doesn't work from the panels.
The light on my 'AC Off' button is always on, which means the AC is always off. Pressing won't do any good, any idea what might cause this? There was leakage of gas which has been repaired, yet the light won't go away and AC not work. C180 203

Kurze Frage, vielleicht kann mir ja jemand helfen.
Ich habe Lüftungsmotor, Vorschaltgerät und Sicherungskasten gewechselt.
Hab anschließend kurz die Lüftung gestartet, die auch funktionierte.
Habe dann den Reset der Lüftung eingeschaltet, der ewig dauerte.
Hab das dann irgendwann abgebrochen und seitdem läuft die Lüftung nicht mehr.
Hat jemand einen Tipp für mich was ich machen könnte?

CTPCB To sync all the stepper motor together like a reset button. The stepper motors are little motors with plastic arms that controls each individual HVAC flap to control the air thru the duct and the air vents. If you do here a clicking noise behind the dash you have a broken stepper motor gear or arm and those are made out of plastic.

Столкнулся с проблемой: из центральных дефлекторов воздух холодный во всех режимах, но если направить поток только в лицо начинает дуть нормально горячим.
