15th National Voters Day Celebration at Chidu-Chigo Ground Likabali// DEO LSD Administers Pledge.

The 15th National Voters' Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Chidu Chigo ground Likabali, through an event organized by the District Election Office. Administering the Voter’s pledge , Rujjum Rakshap , District Election Officer advised the young voters and students to exercise their adult franchise without any inducement or undue pressure. Highlighting the significance of the occasion he delved into the theme of Voters’ Day I.e “ Nothing like Voting , I Vote for Sure “ elucidating it’s importance . The celebration featured prize distribution ceremony for district level painting and essay competition on the Voters’ Day theme for school students, which was conducted earlier in various schools. The event aimed to promote voter awareness , inspire participation and honour new voters . The program saw participation from Shri Gothombu Dajangju SP Lower Siang , HODs, officers, officials , school students and public. NVD was observed and pledge taken in all Offices and polling stations in both Likabali and Nari- Koyu Sub- Divisions .
