I love how Catherine Aragon’s broken heart is green at the beginning because when she was married to Henry he had an affair with Anne B, aka the green girl 💚💛
Henry had affairs with dozens of women, including Anne's sister Mary. At least one of the affairs had a confirmed son. It seems insane to us but, unfortunately, it was normal to them.
btw , cards have meanings : the card held by Catherine of Aragon means : Separation, gossip and deceit. Difficult changes. the card held by Anne Boleyn means : Emotional conflict, obsession, death. Things coming to a head :) the card held by Jane Seymour means : Illness. the card held by Anne of Cleves means : Lies and betrayal. the card held by K Howard means : Bad luck in all things. Depression and low energy, death. the card held by Catherine Parr means : Loss of a someone. An unexpected burden. A warning against losses and sorrow. and thank you again guys!
I love how they start with Katherine saying “lock up your husbands” and you think “oh she’s joking about how attractive she is”. And then you hear her song and it becomes “oh yeah right, literally every man she was with should have been jailed for it”.
Catherine of A: Divorced! Anne B: Beheaded! Jane S: Died! Anna of C: Divorced! Kate H: Beheaded! Catherine P: Survived! Henry VIII: I am Henry The Eighth I had Six Sorry Wives! Some might say I Ruined their Lives!
Divorced Aragon bc they are seeing another women. Executed Boleyn bc she gave birth to a flipping girl. Divorced Cleves bc of her looks.. Executed Howard JUST bc she was sexually active before they met and killed her at a pretty young age.

There is some obstacle to success, and this indicates that obstacles may be coming from within the querent. 6 of Spades Small changes and improvements. 5 of Spades Opposition and obstacles that are temporary; a blessing in disguise. Be tactful with others in order to avoid disputes. 2 of Diamonds A business partnership; a change in relationship; gossip.
This is gorgeous!! Your art style combined with the artistic decisions you made (such as incorporating the historical events surrounding each queen) truly brought each if these women to life. Well done!!
3:09 the sheer fear katherine shows and the way there’s blood on the axe and on the chopping block, well done with this frame!! and this entire animatic is amazing too!
Elle Birds For Anne she has the choker both for the reason you mentioned, and she actually historically had that choker with the B! I’m serious look her picture up!
Does anyone else notice how at 0:18 Anne of Cleaves grabs her broken heart instead of leaving it like Katherine of Aragon did? To me it says how she was at peace with her divorce but Katherine wasn't but I don't know I could be wrong.
The Person what i learned in european history was that the catholic church didn’t allow divorce so henry created the church of england as a separate entity so he could divorce catherine of aragon. so he split england from the catholic church so he could get divorced and marry anne boleyn!
No, Anne Boylen actually convinced Henry that if he divorced Catherine of Aragon that she'd give him a son. So he went to the Pope trying for a divorce. The Pope refused, so Henry split England from the church and created his own, The Church Of England. It took him 7 years to divorce Catherine of Aragon. So yeah she did break England from the church.
Nah it means Henry literally broke England from the church and became a protestant country just so he could get married to Anne Boleyn (he had to have his divorce approved of by the Pope and because of some other stuff that I've forgotten from history class, the Pope wouldn't approve)
Actually that's not Henry's shadow, its her own from when she used to be married to Henry. She had a different hairstyle then so her shadow looks a bit different.
Absolutely amazing, this has to be one of the best Ex-Wives vidoes I have ever seen! I love that you included their original outfits and glimpses of their past, now please excuse me while I watch it again to catch even more details ❤
Fun fact about Catherine Parr, She was also going to be killed by the king but actually was helped out by the princesses and prince who liked her (among others) because she was similar in age to them and often played cards with them, and when she begged the king for mercy and love, he ended up keeping her... King Henry VIII was truly shit to the end lol.
woow, i love the way everything flowed together. the under lining details and omgg you were able to use their og outfits without it feeling out of place with everything else being modern
Can I just say that the tiny detail after the card scene when all the queens are in their wedding gowns are hilarious like Aragon BOELYN and Seymour are normal but He looking away from Cleeves He just staring at Howard’s chest And just being dead when part comes are such great details
The people who disliked was watching upside down... Also, I love the way you added the broken hearts and beheaded lines at the beginning (idk what to call them but they were cool)
1:32 Henry’s head is turned away from Anne Of Cleve’s unlike the other queens and Anne’s frowning since you all know how she humiliated him so he was unwilling to marry her. Just a cool note I think!
They did get married, but it was annulled. They were married for only 6 months before they both agreed to the annulment. He likes that she agreed to it with no issue, she was given a lot of money and land in alimony. They remained on good terms afterwards, despite the humiliation.
MMMMMMMMMM THERE'S SO MANY THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THIS, THE ART, THE SYMBOLISM, AND THE D E T A I L I LOVE HOW YOU PUSH THE FACT THAT CLEVES WAS LITERALLY REJECTED FOR HER LOOKS, AND THE DETAILS WITH THE BEHEADED GIRLS, THE WEAPONS I ALSO THINK YOU, OUT OF ALL THE EX-WIVES ANIMIATICS I'VE SEEN, YOU USED HENRY THE MOST IN SCENES I JUST LOVE IT SM
This is really amazing!! I love how you tell all their stories so clearly through the drawings, all the scenes and details, absolutely stunning!!! The emotions and expressions are fantastic, awesome job and thank you so much for sharing!!
This moment at 4:50 with all the queens with united hearts is wholesome. They were all with the same man. They all met the same fate, in fact, Catherine Parr died the same way as Jane Seymour when she married her brother. So that's why they are united too. Also, I always appreciated Anne Boleyns hair with little circles in it. Oh I almost forgot! At 5:12, Anne of Cleves is the only one that has an angry eyebrow. Why? I don't know! It pleases me! Also, at 1:08, it looks like Boleyn is trying to protect her neck. And at 1:12, Katherine Howard is doing the sign showing that you don't have air anymore when underwater. Beautiful lines, detailed characters, clothes, there is just so much to say! Awesome animation! All the little details, so many! Its like a whole movie of the six wives! Wonderful job! Im watching it again and again! Thanks! Sorry for talking too much! Wonderful thing, subscribed already! :-D
3:42 the reason that the other men except one have red lines across their neck now if your wondering who that guy is that is George Boleyn Anne Boleyns younger brother.
I have always wondered about what the meaning of Boleyn's "my sleeves may be green but my lipsticks red" was. So if someone could explain it to me that'd be nice,, Anyways, that was amazing! Keep going, wish you the best!
heyyy there, I think Boleyn makes a reference to the song 'Greensleeves', which was allegedly written about her. The reason she mentions her lipstick is the same reason she was beheaded. She -if you trust Henry's words- cheated on him with three other men, and lipstick is often used as a sexual symbol or one of attractiveness. :)
@@justcare.9390 Yeah since i suppose Boleyn was pretty charismatic and flirty with men in her court. She was the smartest one out of all of them when it came to courting, playing her cards just right for the King to fall in love with her.
i loved the detail of when it was anne of cleves frame he was turned away from her !! that was just the first one i noticed, so i'll follow it up by saying i adore your attention to detail!! this is amazing :)
Transitions? *Smooth.* Art? *Fascinating.* Flashy scenes? *Amazing.* Meaning behind the animation? *Im crying.* You said the vine has expired now? *Like i care.* Sarcasm? *Ofcourse to the max.* *Hotel? TriVagO.*
NGL i feel like im listening to an anime introduction with this song sometimes. the music (in a few parts) reminds me of some type of anime. But in all seriousness F A N T A S T I C animatic!
This was stunning!! Like goodness gracious- your lineart alone was gorgeous, but you brought new, creative aspects to the animatic too!! Absolutely loved this, and your other video is fun too! Definitely subscribed!
This is so good! You packed every frame with so much symbolism and it was so amazingly paced. Also I am in such envy of your artistic talent! And your patience! I love that you show the "end" of their marriages too, but without explicitly showing the death of the wives themselves. Some of course, like Jane, where her death was... kind of the crux of it. But the others are more around what /caused/ the end of the marriage - Henry's affairs, Anne's accused cheating (and Katherine's), etc. It's so well done!
damnnnn this is hands down the best animatic I've seen for this song I had to pause this vid multiple times to truly appreciate the beauty and brilliance of it great work!
So I think everyone in the comments summed up why this is so amazing but Im just going to add that the artstyle is just very very pretty and the sequences line up perfectly with the song (especially the part where each queens life is shown through a single picture) ❤
next animatic is...?

This is gorgeous!! Your art style combined with the artistic decisions you made (such as incorporating the historical events surrounding each queen) truly brought each if these women to life. Well done!!
3:09 the sheer fear katherine shows and the way there’s blood on the axe and on the chopping block, well done with this frame!! and this entire animatic is amazing too!
one, this is really good!!
two, i just noticed that katherine and anne have chokers around their neck because they got beheaded
Elle Birds For Anne she has the choker both for the reason you mentioned, and she actually historically had that choker with the B! I’m serious look her picture up!
Firefly 593
shit she’s a badass
“Yeah my pearls get a b on it
for badass
-andmaybecauseofmyname-
Does anyone else notice how at 0:18 Anne of Cleaves grabs her broken heart instead of leaving it like Katherine of Aragon did? To me it says how she was at peace with her divorce but Katherine wasn't but I don't know I could be wrong.
The "YA" part is just 😌yass
HOLY HELL. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS ANIMATIC. THE ART STYLE, THE VIDEO EDITING- IT'S PERFECT. KEEP UP THE AZING WORK. *WE STAN AN TALENTED QUEEN.*
Waiitttttttttttttttt ... Anne's outfit on 2:06 resembles Natalie Dormer's costume when she had her stint as Anne Boleyn on The Tudors.
0:07 the heart is green beacause henry divorced catherine to be with anne whose colour in the musical is green?
Does “I broke England from the church, yeah I’m that sexy” mean “I broke Henry and Catherine Aragon up, yeah I’m that sexy”?
Nah it means Henry literally broke England from the church and became a protestant country just so he could get married to Anne Boleyn (he had to have his divorce approved of by the Pope and because of some other stuff that I've forgotten from history class, the Pope wouldn't approve)
are you all from England or you just like English history😂
@@stefanikaci6915 dunno about those two but I'm from England😂
I got a tinder ad before this song. The irony
Is it just me or
The
"Divorce, beheaded, died,
Divorce, beheaded, survived."
Came from Boyinaband's song titled " Don't Stay In School"
Cindy Malian he used it but it existed way before that
It's a really old mnemonic for them.
I just appreciate you actually properly drawing Henry the eighth
I love the last shot of parr and her shadow is Henry
It's not her shadow hes lying down because he's dead
Actually that's not Henry's shadow, its her own from when she used to be married to Henry. She had a different hairstyle then so her shadow looks a bit different.
That one dislike is Henry
Absolutely amazing, this has to be one of the best Ex-Wives vidoes I have ever seen! I love that you included their original outfits and glimpses of their past, now please excuse me while I watch it again to catch even more details ❤
WHAt. THIS IS SO UNDERRATED?? I LOVE YOUR ARTSTYLE SO MUCH?? i also really like how the queens are never really dead or still looking!!
Fun fact about Catherine Parr,
She was also going to be killed by the king but actually was helped out by the princesses and prince who liked her (among others) because she was similar in age to them and often played cards with them, and when she begged the king for mercy and love, he ended up keeping her...
King Henry VIII was truly shit to the end lol.
I don't even know what country he ruled and what time period but I already understand something. He was a bad husband
woow, i love the way everything flowed together. the under lining details and omgg you were able to use their og outfits without it feeling out of place with everything else being modern
Any girl named Katherine, Catherine, or Kathryn: **exists**
Henry VIII: "yOu wAnNa sEe sOmE rEaL sPeEd?"
Can I just say that the tiny detail after the card scene when all the queens are in their wedding gowns are hilarious like
Aragon BOELYN and Seymour are normal but
He looking away from Cleeves
He just staring at Howard’s chest
And just being dead when part comes are such great details
Oh no
*She's really good*
The people who disliked was watching upside down...
Also, I love the way you added the broken hearts and beheaded lines at the beginning (idk what to call them but they were cool)
3:49 every time I watch this i have to pause here. It looks so sad. That picture really hits different
Nicely done! I really like how, during each queen’s synopsis, they transform to their period clothing.
Omg...I just noticed Henry turning away from Anna of Cleves in 1:31...poor baby. She still slayed tho
the cards they hold show many years they were with him
Really?
No, they don't.
I like that little detail at 1:31 where Henry isn't looking at Anne of Cleves
MMMMMMMMMM THERE'S SO MANY THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THIS, THE ART, THE SYMBOLISM, AND THE D E T A I L
I LOVE HOW YOU PUSH THE FACT THAT CLEVES WAS LITERALLY REJECTED FOR HER LOOKS, AND THE DETAILS WITH THE BEHEADED GIRLS, THE WEAPONS
I ALSO THINK YOU, OUT OF ALL THE EX-WIVES ANIMIATICS I'VE SEEN, YOU USED HENRY THE MOST IN SCENES
I JUST LOVE IT SM
Every dislike is from King Henry’s multiple accounts just to dislike this
And his court
no they are from me
YES QUEENNNNNNNNN
Please do more Six animatics!!! These are BEAUTIFUL!
Why on earth doesn’t this have more views?!!!
PERFECTTTTT
*Are we not gonna talk about Anne of Cleves’ wedding? hENRY WAS LEGIT TURNING HIS HEAD AWAY FROM HER*

4:18 Is that Hamilton and Philip? Holy heck that's Hamilton and Philip-
I love how Anna just grabs that broken heart and is like "no". Nice touch!
Great animatic, so many lovely images, keeps the viewer on their toes throughout the whole video.
This is really amazing!! I love how you tell all their stories so clearly through the drawings, all the scenes and details, absolutely stunning!!! The emotions and expressions are fantastic, awesome job and thank you so much for sharing!!
Lol i edited this comment so no one knows what this is about
Yes please
lol yass 😂
Lol my World Geography teacher actually asked my class if any of them had heard of this musical. This happened about a 1-2 months ago
😂😂yes but just me because me and my boyfriend only listen to it
AND NOW, WE. ARE.
I love how they all have their little symbols at the beginning and then cleves is just like SHUT UP and grabs it
I like how you change the girls to there past forms
I love how at the very start Anna grabbed the broken heart instead of letting it stay like Catherine. It fits her
3:42 the reason that the other men except one have red lines across their neck now if your wondering who that guy is that is George Boleyn Anne Boleyns younger brother.
2:53 I like how the only one winking with her right eye is the only one who died so she was the only one who left him not the other way around
Katherine:
(Casually prancing around the castle)
(Henry walks into the room)
(All questions enter Henry's mind)
I have always wondered about what the meaning of Boleyn's "my sleeves may be green but my lipsticks red" was. So if someone could explain it to me that'd be nice,,
Anyways, that was amazing!
Daaaamn, you are very good at drawing! ❤
@@justcare.9390 Thank you very much y'all!! That helps a lot
@@brocoliaulit7878 no problem ♥︎
i loved the detail of when it was anne of cleves frame he was turned away from her !! that was just the first one i noticed, so i'll follow it up by saying i adore your attention to detail!! this is amazing :)
THIS IS SO GOOD! WHY HAVEN MIRE PEOPLE SEEN THIS! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WAY YOU DRAW PARRS HAIR
Transitions? *Smooth.*
Art? *Fascinating.*
Flashy scenes? *Amazing.*
Meaning behind the animation? *Im crying.*
You said the vine has expired now? *Like i care.*
Sarcasm? *Ofcourse to the max.*
*Hotel? TriVagO.*
The animations about this musical are being reccomended to me and hey im not complaining, i love it
NGL i feel like im listening to an anime introduction with this song sometimes. the music (in a few parts) reminds me of some type of anime. But in all seriousness F A N T A S T I C animatic!
3:03 - 3:11 - idk why but I love this part soo much
Same I think I’ve rewatched that bit at least 20 times
I LOVE THE CARD AND THE ONE WITH THEIR SILHOUETTES AND HENRY IN ITTTT AAAAAA
This was stunning!! Like goodness gracious- your lineart alone was gorgeous, but you brought new, creative aspects to the animatic too!! Absolutely loved this, and your other video is fun too! Definitely subscribed!
I smell an underrated art genius
I AM IN LOVE
Your Anna of Cleaves is stunning oh my god
This is nicee! This animatic is so underrated. Hoping you'll bloom soon!
I'm loving these historical musicals, Hamilton, Something Rotten!, and now Six
BROO YES BUT ONE OF MY FAVORITES IS HAMILTON
i like how during the background music part with the side silhouettes and the cards your drew them all with a smile except Jane the third wife
5 seconds in and I’m already in love
But like when Henry's silhouette turned away from Cleves but not the other girls
The dislikes are Henry in 81 different forms.
damnnnn this is hands down the best animatic I've seen for this song I had to pause this vid multiple times to truly appreciate the beauty and brilliance of it great work!
It's a shame only a few people saw this animatic. This is really good. Keep it up 💕💕💕
Wowie!!!! This is like,,,,the most creative animatic made of this song that I've seen. This was so much fun to watch
So I think everyone in the comments summed up why this is so amazing but Im just going to add that the artstyle is just very very pretty and the sequences line up perfectly with the song (especially the part where each queens life is shown through a single picture) ❤
I'M IN LOVE! The detail and the meaning behind everything and the history in your frames. like YASSSSSSSSSSSSS
