By far the best demo of this keyboard out there. Great audio and video, and of course, fantastic playing by Adrei. Thanks for listing all the tones being used.
From my point of view, CASIO Privia PX-S3000 is nowadays the best electronic and digital piano in the world because it is slim, stylish, and smart. From Lima City, PERÚ, Eugenia KOVTUNOVA's piano student.
Mine is being delivered tomorrow. Can't wait - been watching S3000 videos all weekend!! This demo was, as many have said, incredible. It takes practice and timing to do a demo like that. Excellent job. So excited to be able to play anywhere with this monster!
@@aaronmusic902 Perfect for home use! There are a lot of nice features for home players. Not really designed for band or stage use, but nice feel and good sound.
Casio sounds and feels good since 2013 with their Casio Privia PX-5s, which I happen to own! It sounds great, has AN AMAZING keybed, but unfortunately no half-damper compatibility (yep, no pedal works, no matter how good it is, just on/off). This is a bit important for real piano students that can't afford a grand piano. This one seems like a great upgrade, congratulations! I just wish it had a modulation wheel too, and probably some more controls (knobs, faders) to use as a midi controller, as nowadays these "hybrid approaches" bring a lot of value to a product. I have been using my PX-5S both as a master midi controller for synths and also as a jazz piano practice tool (as stand-alone). CASIO, please bring us PX-5S sucessor next NAMM!
Totalmente de acuerdo. El PX-5s es un increíble piano se escenario. Tiene todo lo necesario, y el precio es sumamente competitivo. Tuve uno hace un tiempo, y ha sido probablemente mi piano favorito ❤️
The video shows at about 3:40 that he is using the line outs therefore we are not listening to the internal speakers. Also in order use the line outs only and mute the internal speakers you must use a dummy plug in one of the headphone outputs. This will mute the internal speakers. I know, I own one. I couldn't tell if he was using a dummy plug either so who knows. Maybe you want the line out audio and the internal speakers sounding at the same. I just find it odd that when you use the line outs it doesn't mute the int. speakers as many other digital keyboards do. Other than that it's a GREAT keyboard!
I dont mind this feature. It could be useful especially when the keyboard monitor is absent or giving problems. Even better for me was if there was a way to turn down the volume going to the house speakers from the keyboard while keeping the volume on the internal speakers so you could workout a song that your unfamiliar with outside of the hearing of the congregation. I think this would be a cool feature
Maybe go to functions and use number 104 Speaker Out and set it to off and then you should only have audio out at the two 1/4 inch outs. Can do same thing if you want to hear both headphones and internal speakers at the same time by going to function 104 and turning speakers on as it automatically turns speakers off when in plug in headphones. Don't know why one would want both internal speakers and headphones at the same time, but it can be done.
So how is the feel and quality of the keyboard action? How does it compare to eg. the Roland FP-30? How does it perform fast repetitions on a single key?

Dear mercuraz, that is correct - PX-S3000 has two built-in speakers (2 x 8 W), but it also has LINE OUTs to connect to e.g. external speakers. With the CS-68PBK stand and the SP-34 three-pedal-unit you can transform this portable piano into a regular stand model. Kind regards - EMI CASIO team
Another well experienced channel on UA-cam called this essentially worse than a toy.Too bad, I was so close to getting it. Now I have to rethink which one to get in the price range that has worthwhile features.
Expectation: Casio-we have developed a new keyboard, now we have integrated a triple sensor in the budget cdp models for better responsiveness, and added a polyphonic aftertouch to the flagship pxs3000 and pxs1000. Reality: Casio - we've made the keyboard a bit more compact, but removed in the flagship model, triple sensor, but did not mention that and what else is there to say about a rehearsal that is not worse than with a triple sensor.... Pfff despite the fact that in the s3000 sound almost close to the reference sound I'm really disappointed technological degradation, I'm on another is not called, because if you use a MIDI keyboard cdps100 and pxs3000 it will be one and the same instrument.
I have this keyboard and in no way does the grand piano have this bright clear sound as shown in this video. In reality the default piano concert grand is wooly sounding as if someone was pressing the soft pedal all the time. Either the tone has been eq'd or Casio have changed the sample since this video was made. I was very disappointed with the acoustic piano samples in this keyboard, so much so I only use it as a midi controller for superior piano sounds on my pc.
Appreciate your insights, Jono! Just to set the record straight, every sound in the video originates directly from the instrument-no external samples were brought into the mix. Concerning EQ, dive into the equalizer within the DSP effects to fine-tune and tailor any frequencies that may not sit well with your preferences.
