I highly recommend reading the first chapter from Amy’s POV in the book by Gillian Flynn. Her thoughts in that chapter, explaining why she’s doing what she’s doing, is more insightful than what we see in the movie.
With out a doubt, Gone Girl is one of the best movies in the last 10 years! Considering that's even with Ben Affleck as one of the main characters. Rosamund Pike should have her star on the "walk of fame" just for her role in this movie.

Great film. In my top 10 movies of the 2010s. Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike were superb. Pike (Amazing Amy) was nominated for Best Actress and should have won. Really strong performances from the supporting cast, too. Personally, I think this is David Fincher's best film.
You might be able to guess correctly that Amy doesn't actually die, but after watching her real side of the story, her inner thought and her set up, it's more shocking than knowing she planned for Nick to take the fall lol.
Everyone understands she's the villain, what people are saying is that they understand her motives. What Nick did to Amy most women suffer. And most women probably wish there was a way to punish their lying and cheating partners. So amy lives the revenge fantasy.

what? Do you understand what fantasies are? People (especially women) love this story because it lives out their revenge fantasy. Why is John Wick celebrated but people get bothered by Amy winning?
Did her two ex-lovers share the same egotism? She just returned to her husband because she ran out of money because of those two people who steal bag of money from her.
The take about pooling your money together is stupid😆. You have a certain portion set aside for bills and other things but if both are earning good wage then they should still have separate money. This made me unlike the vid😆
