Chris Connor, the closest you can get to the real thing……… Saw him live and he just knocked me of my seat. even my wife, who isn't an elvis fan at all was breathless
I totally agree. I was privileged to see Elvis in concert when I was 17 in Portland OR in 1976. I have seen some of the top ETA's but Chris Connor is the best.

Been a Elvis fan for 40 years, and I've seen HUNDREDS of impersonators over the years. Some really good ones too, Doug Church, Shawn Klush, Trent Carlini, & Lou Vuto come to mind. This cat here blows them all away!! Tight band, Spot-On tone and inflections (I'm a professional singer), the movements, the little subtleties (blowing hair, playing with collar, hand gestures), talking voice, he even looks like Elvis WITHOUT wearing the aviators. Absolutely Amazing!! The best full package tribute artist I have ever seen hands down!! Bravo Sir, you gained a fan tonight!!!
I agree. Thanks for your post. Chris is among the very best. Check out some of his other songs I've posted. He is VERY popular over in the UK... of course. He lives in Manchester with his new bride Lisa a very sweet and talented person. I like them both very much. Of course it's a pleasure to play guitar for him when ever possible!
Thanks P4life! (my sis lives in PA:) Yup! I also play guitar often for Shawn Klush and Cody Slaughter, Bill Cherry, Donny Edwards. Ted Torres... and others. I can sincerely say they are a GREAT bunch of guys, with a lot of talent, a lot of heart and a true love for The King! Chris is also unique and a prince of a man! (re: your 40 years as a Fan... I remember playing guitar in 1972 for ETA Johnny Rusk in Seattle. (ouch! :) Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Wow he has it all best by far. I CLOSE MY eyes and listen, , the tones the inflections the phrasing, he's got them all off too tee, then I open my eyes omg he's got the looks too. I'm even hearing that be beautiful soft little lisp Elvis had .

This guys is amazing in voice and looks. How has he never won ultimate Elvis tribute artist? Or even came in the top ten! The best I have watched on here are Chris Connor, Bill Cherry, Shawn Klush and Ben Portsmouth.

Cool! I play guitar for most of the top 10 ETAs ... so I hesitate to say who my favorites are, however I think they all have a unique style of honoring the King, and there's awful lot of fans out there to entertain by touring. Probably enough room for 100 top performers. Long live the King...right!?

Yup thanks. He is a great person with much humility and love for what Elvis accomplished. I always remember that the serious ETAs are also fans and that it takes a lot to get up on stage and set yourself up for much criticism and even ridicule. It was great playing guitar for him on this tour.

Cal Lewis Lundgren like I said Chris does a super job vocally and he doesn’t do too much but he should take care of that collar, doesn’t hold in place and I’m sure there’s half inch too large. Am i wrong?

@Dummy Crash Chris' voice is way more realistic. Ben uses the "cry" maneuver too much when he sings.
