Yeah, hopefully soon. I am planning to go back to NZ for Christmas, so hopping to visit some snakey locations on the way there and on the way back. Haven't had a chance to visit any snakes outside of Taiwan for a few years now. Unfortunately NZ has none haha.
What would you say, is there some danger to go hiking and camping this summer across the mountains for several days? I think the trail goes through different habitat..
There are always risks on a long hike, but snakes are not a very big risk. In the high mountains snakes are very uncommon. Generally be careful when pushing through dense undergrowth or fallen logs etc. especially in open footwear. aside from accidentally stepping on or grabbing a snake, they will not attack you. they are actually veey shy

I have been bitten a couple of times by non-venomous snakes, but I try not to handle them too much, and if I do, I try to handle them in ways that don't stress out the snake, so they seldom bite. I never free handle venomous snakes. It is not worth the risk. Also, if you keep your distance, snakes will never come charging in and attack.
有的眼鏡蛇會噴毒，還好中華眼鏡蛇幾乎不會噴毒，不過看到牠最好遠離，以策安全。
擬龜殼花(遊蛇科頸稜蛇屬)看起來比較像鎖鏈蛇(泰國圓斑蝰)，背部的花紋一個個圓的，像圓斑蝰一樣肥肥的肥宅。感謝分享。
這種拍攝手法感覺有在國家地理頻道任職過😬👍👍👍

好可怕，雨傘節這麼大一支，拍攝這些毒蛇時還是請保持安全距離，以免被遭蛇吻就麻煩大嘍！影片中看你們靠那麼近距離甚至撫摸，真是替你們捏把冷汗。😢😢😢
不用擔心。 我總是與劇毒蛇保持安全距離。 相機有一定的變焦功能，所以我經常使用一點變焦讓蛇看起來更近。:)

It was the only decent night I had there. Every other night was pretty bleak. Others had much more success.
