I watch premier league weekly and there is always issues with VAR, I’m surprised that since the beginning of this Afcon, there has not been an issue with VAR since the start of the tournament. Shame on EPL, African officiating coupled with VAR has been spot on…

On the VAR, could it be that it’s harder to use in Europe, because of how high-paced and fast the game is over there? In Europe everything seems to happen in split seconds and players have mastered the act of simulations and tricking the referees. AFCON is a bit slower in pace, making it easier for VAR or referees to catch crucial moments
