Huge congratulations to the entire crew of the GRIMETON SAQ radio station... You are great... it brings a tear to my eye that because of this damn war our AXO/AXL is in ruins today. It is wonderful that thanks to your work and dedication, we - Poles - can see how great the technical achievements of independent Poland were at our disposal at that time (For almost 200 years, the independence of our homeland was taken away from us). I wish you not to lose strength and always keep the memory of the wonderful transmitters built on the basis of the Alexanderson alternator and I wish that your transmitter remains functional forever and that we can hear these great, wonderful letters S A Q in the air and we bow our heads with regret over the letters A X O A X L , which we will never hear on the air again.
Thank you for your kind words and for letting us send a message of peace from Babice radio station, Poland to the world on UN-Day 2023. It was an honor for us to transmit your call signals AXO/AXL.
Fascinating i never realized such a machine existed. Very informative video, thanks. Back in the early 70's i had the opportunity to tour the Jim Creek naval radio station in washington state. It was vacuum tube operated low frequency keyed transmitter.
Great work on that key ... sounds machine generated! Congratulations. Visited SAQ eight weeks ago, been a 'must visit' placed for many years. Arrived Varberg by sailboat from UK. Sadly no transmissions that day but fabulous to see it all still works! 73 G8WVW/MM (ex BBC Skelton).
The transmission was perfectly heard in Västerås, Sweden (Loc = JO89HO) RST 599+. RX = Cave DF receiver with 500 x 500 mm loop antenna. 73 / Bosse / SM5CJW

Fantastisk och utförlig presentation. Hoppas sändaren funkar ännu minst 100 år till. H. Stig Österberg från Dalsbruk i Finland.
