    Hey Ellë, very nice video. I’ve had this item for a few months now and I’ve only cleaned the kitchen and living room area. Seeing it done on the carpet and windows was simply amazing. I didn’t even fully know how badass this item is. Thank you to you, your husband, and the little one for the video 😌🙌🏾✨

    Absolutely love this video. I have yet to use all of the functions, but this instructional clip prompted me to explore. My original question has to do with the bracket. It's not really necessary, is it?

    • @ElleJuliet
      @ElleJuliet  4 роки тому +1

      Glad it was informative! Are you referring to the piece that lets you glide over carpets? To spot clean it might not be necessary but to do a whole carpet room I think it could be helpful. I look forward to cleaning our carpets more and also our cloth couch! I will use attachments for the couch but not the bracket. Cleaning big windows, mirrors, and shower doors is so much more enjoyable now! I hope I helped!

    CAUTION TO VIEWERS - You aren't supposed to steam laminate flooring. According to the flooring industry, "Laminate flooring is sensitive to heat and moisture, so the humidity from your steam mop can cause harm. It won't cause as much damage as a wet mop, but could eventually cause your floor to warp, loosen or peel."

    Does it leave the carpet really wet? I have harwood floors underneath don't wanna damage my wood floor by trapped moisture.

    • @ElleJuliet
      @ElleJuliet  3 роки тому +2

      Yeah that’s a good point. If you do steam mop I would definitely buy a fan onto the carpet or something. But ultimately that’s your decision. But yes the carpet will get wet but not drenching wet

    • @GreenEyedJade
      @GreenEyedJade 3 роки тому +4

      If you don’t leave it in one spot for too long and as long as you keep it moving pretty fast, it won’t leave your carpet wet! Plus you can turn down the amount of steam that actually comes out of the mop. I always turn it down pretty low when I do my carpet, and just make sure that I move it back and forth pretty fast, and don’t go over the same spot too many times. If you do that, it won’t leave the carpet wet at all, it just leaves it really warm lol :)

      It's probably clogged; Especially if you use regular tap water. Most all steam mops clog after using it so many times. The reason for this is due to the minerals the tap water has. The Steam mop creates steam to dissipate the water but the minerals deposits remain; hence the clogging and calcification. First read the troubleshoot part of your manual. If you don't have , then download the pdf. If all else fails try running the mop with a mixture of water and vinegar to loosen up the clog.

      I wish I knew the exact temperature for you. I just looked on the Amazon page and I couldn’t find it there either. It did say it kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria if that’s why you were asking. But I do know the water that can drip out when you’re removing the middle part can be veryyy hot. And I can feel that the floor is hot after. Hope this helps :)
