    Awesome videos! I've been studying CCNA for about a year now, and all of the resources I've found have been incredibly bland, lifeless, and boring. This has been the best resource I've found by far. It teaches nuances of networking and iOS that none of the other resources even covered (including the official Cisco CCNA book), and teaches practical easy to apply and easy to understand shortcuts to common situations.
    I've already recommended it to 6 people! Way to go Imran! Please keep sharing anything you can! Your videos and tutoring are fantastic!!!

    thank you so much, i didn't want to learn about cisco before just because i was afraid of
    his command but now you make it easy. i use packer tracer but i never tried cisco console line
    now it very funny for me i can use console instead of graphic configuration
    thank you so much but it'll be better if you can give some exercice of configuration and more video about routing data with cisco device

    hi imran.first of all thanks for your nice video and in second I have a question regarding to lecture day 8.
    in day 8 video 22minut (22:07) You write an IP address for switch.10.1.1.1 .
    and we alway write the host number (1) for get way.
    ex: 10.1.1.1 is get way.
    in this video management IP and get way is same or different.
    if it is different does it effect on get way or no.

      Its the same network. It doesn't matter. In this case there was no gateway. If you watched our previous videos, you will know how to make use of Subnet mask to understand the network of an IP address.

    I have question about console and eithernet devices. Will console port always connected to the master computer on a network?? And if a printer connected by a cisco switch and all computers on this network automatically use this printer or any configuration needed? I have great doubt on this topic

    • @NetworKingInc
      @NetworKingInc  9 років тому

      +ashraf ullah Hi. Ideally the console port is connected to a Terminal server and the terminal server can be connected to the console port of multiple devices. We can also connect the console port to one 'master' computer. But then what about the other devices in the network?
      As for printers, as long as its a network printer and has an IP address assigned to it, all you have to do is install that printer by searching that IP address on each of the computer that needs access. Non network printers can be shared by the computer to which it is connected. Hope this answers your question.

I have been working on IT for 23 years, and for the first time I have found a method that keeps me motivated enough to pursue a Cisco Certification. Thank you so much for the videos NetworKing! I have been watching your videos from Day 1 and they have been very helpful and I am gaining confidence in the material.
    I did have a question about the particular subnet mask you chose around 22:10 in the video. Can you assign a Class C subnet mask for a Class A IP address? Or did you choose that subnet mask to signify that there are no subnets?

    • @NetworKingInc
      @NetworKingInc  10 років тому

      k Ayyappa Thanks for your comments. If you are talking about upgrading the IOS, you need to go into rommon mode and do an FTP transfer of the file. It is a very slow process. We will be covering these topics in later part of this series. Stay tuned. Please subscribe to our channel to get updated of new videos, like our videos and share them on social media platforms!

    Assalamu-walaikum sir,
    I'm undergraduate student of ETE. I'm started following your video tutorial on youtube and already subscribe.Thank you for making a excellent tutorial for all.Your method was awesome for ip learning. I don't understand the relation between console port configuration and the other 48 switch port work at day 8 session.
    Hope to receive your answer in real soon,hope to write you soon.

    • @NetworKingInc

      Console port is used ONLY for Management Traffic. Regular ports of the switch is used for Data Traffic (traffic between networking devices). We can use telnet/ssh and make use of regular port for management traffic as well. Hope that made sense.
