I think they are back to no1. If they were able to reduce the 10 and 5% targets that would make them even more competitive, but then that may allow more traders through and diminish the quality of funded traders. In every industry there is the one product/firm that is more expensive and seen more exclusive like Apple, Mercedes.
Sounds like they just want to get more traders. Selling the dream. I really like the biweekly payouts. It will be interesting to see if they ever scale back because what happens if they now get tons of profitable traders paying 80% if they aren't actually copying the traders this model would fail.

Fee is still very high if you compare it with the 10k challenge. And the scale up Programm takes you 4-6 months. So in long perspective it’s not bad. I was stay with FTMO for a long time, But I switch to MFF and still think that they on top right now.
good move but news restrictions is still a bad point. And leverage on the swing challenge is ridiculous (1:30). I would keep it up with FT and MFF which are in my opinion, the best props.

Most times traders close their winning trades too early because they don’t want to violate the max daily loss. A lot of times trades will be in drawdown before it goes in profit. If it’s a trade on a higher timeframe, it takes a time longer to get in profit. When that happens, traders close the winning trades cos of the max daily loss rule. It sucks!

Great insight as always Blake. How about bringing in a no minimum trading days scenario in The Funded Trader firm of which you are now an integral part. Also, a weekly payment system or bi-weekly as the bare minuimum? Perhaps, hit a 5% target and then request for payment?

There's still a way better prop firm out there that gives 85/15 plus they start with 12% overall loss limit and only 8% profit requirement for the evaluation with biweekly payouts and they're a lot cheaper than FTMO without the rules on news and weekend trading
Please I have a question.. if am in draw down on the live account does it mean until my account is more than 10k or which was the initial capital before they pay me??? My gains. Am trying to ask do I have to always bring up the account to the initial balance before am gonna get paid???
You only get paid on profits ABOVE your funded account. If you account is below your starting balance, you get NOTHING and have to bring it back up above your starting balance.
If you combine challenges up to 400k does it scale off of that or does it scale off of the "initial " account size.. whatever that may be... I can't find anything the FAQ a customer care doesn't clearly answer it either
In my opinion, FTMO is at its peak right now and easily beats any other prop firm in present time. There’s no need to change the leverage nor rules around news, those are firm IMO and should stay the same along with the 10 day duration to keep business with high quality traders. Although the accounts are “expensive”, you are receiving way more money than what you put down in the first place plus FTMO IS the most trusted in the industry. What more can you ask for? On top of all these changes, the new standard is 80/20 profit split with biweekly payouts implemented. Like come on 😂, it’s a no brainer at the end of the day.
A lot of cheap MF’s complaining about the price lol. Price is irrelevant if you are as good as you say you are (not you specifically, just in general) because you get refunded when you get the first withdrawal.

just so you know its you have to make 10% net profit not gross so you have to make 10% plus 30% Ftmo profit but that would be now 20%
