Giants of the Boreal Forest

In this video, I travel to Northwest Alberta to better understand the issues faced by the Wood Bison, which were re-introduced in the mid-80s. The wood bison is now a threatened species. Still, efforts were undertaken by Alberta Environment and Protect Areas and the Dene Tha' First Nation are collaborating to ensure the bison population in this area can remain self-sustaining.
