Well Big Mom actually has 4 sweet commanders. There were only 3 when luffy arrived coz Ma D monk defeated one of them. If you see Shanks cre, i dont think its structured like kaido and big mom and similarly i dont see luffy structuring it that way as well. SH crew is different bro.

Oda comment in this issue of ShonenJump - "I want to draw a sea battle, but it's tough because there's guys on the boats more powerful than cannons." This is something that I always assume was the reason but it's nice that Oda confirm why he doesn't do much sea battles.

Luffy is still a monster, the whole "new monster trio" doesn't make sense unless you remove Sanji or Zoro to include Jimbei, you can not remove the most monstrous one and keep calling the group monster trio. Monster trio has always been used to refer to the 3 strongest in the crew.

Kinemon dying, and possibly the other scabbards (but mainly Kinemon, seeing as he's the leader), would symbolize the end of the old era and beginning of a new one, a coming of a "new dawn" of sorts. With Momo ruling over the country, vowing to make it a good kingdom, in memory of the old folks who fought for any of this to be possible.

People keep forgetting that when Jinbe and Ace fought, Ace wasn't yet even on Whitebeard's crew. He wasn't 2nd commander level at that point. We can't assume that Jinbe power level grew as much as Ace did either.
Jinbei is one of the strongest fishman, if not the strongest in the world. Fishmen are already inherently stronger than humans so he's really up there. It's like if the strongest giant just ended up being sanji level, it would be quite disappointing.

Luffy said at the end of chapter 1 he wanted 10 people to join him, he hismelf does not coutn so there's one more to go which at this point now has to be Carrot, she even filled a role since she stoowedaway at teh start of whole cake island, she's the lookout. Also the minks are heavily tied into the history of the world so one of them has to be there when the one piece is found and after Pedros' speech to her about leading the straw hats to teh new dawn of the world there's no one else who could possibly be the final member now but Carrot, she has inherited Pedro's dream, everything thematically fits for her to join since his death also serves aa a part of her tragic backstory now too. If Luffy doenst ask her to join at the end of wano or she doesn't simply stowaway with them again i'll be very surprised. she's had too much build up not to join at this point, she's even on the sunny with the rest of the crew right now instead of being with the rest of the Minks that Inuarashi brought with him. As for fights it has to be Jack vs. Jinbe for me, the straw hats need to be the ones who take out Kaidou and his top 3, so Zoro vs. King and Sanji vs. Queen better happen. I think the scabbards will probably fight Orochi and the Oniwabanshu. I can see Law and Kidd helping Luffy but i think Luffy has to prove he can deal with a yonkou on his own now so Law and Kidd might get stuck dealing with Big Mom and her brats. I dunno how Big Mom is going to be involved in the wano battle but i know she's not losing here, her story wont end till we get to Elbaf, her charcter is an enabled spoiled child who has gotten her own way her entire life and suffered no consequences, i feel her story wont come full circle till she reaches Elbaf and learns the truth about what she did to Mother Carmel and the orphans allowing her to finally grow up, lose the hunger tantrums and realise that the dream she wants so bad to fulfill could never have been realised as long as she remained the spoiled selfish brat that everyone has allowed her to be. the truth being revealed to her will be the long awaited punishment she has needed and deserved since she was 5, this should hopefully start her redemption arc into being an eventual ally for the final war since her dream will actually coincide with Luffy's and Jinbe's about everyone being free (Luffy) and equal (Jinbe). Or Maybe she'll just be the main villain for Elbaf and luffy will ko her but i like my full circle theory better.

9:30 That's a big risk Luffy's taking by leaving Momo to his fate just because he believes he'll find a way to survive on his own. You have to put all your hopes on Momo either being able to get away from Kanjuro once they're close to land, which I'd argue why not just rescue him now, or hope that Kaido or Orochi will just detain Momo rather than immediately have him killed when he's brought to them. What if Kaido kills him? Orochi wanted every blood relative of the Kozuki dead and Momo is expected to escape from both of them?

Love the video, but I have to comment on that jinbei "At least 2nd Y.Commander level " 😂. When Ace and Jinbei fought Ace was still a rookie he didn't join the Whitebeard pirates yet, let alone becoming a commander. Ace definitely grew in strength significantly after that point, but jinbei already hit his prime his growth would be minor. He was clearly shown during Marineford to be inferior to Marco, and during Whole Cake he was portrayed to be inferior to Katakuri as he was joined by Capone & Pedro to fight him. Also when Smoothie was pursuing the Strawhats, he never thought of staying behind and fight her. I honestly think that he's around 3rd Commander or slightly lower. But still it's all assumptions.

Jimbei is not 2nd commander level cause Ace wasn’t 2nd commander level. He was just the captain of the 2nd division, which does not automatically mean he was 2nd strongest. Burgess is the captain of 1st ship of BB pirates, but we all know Shiryu is much stronger. Ace was put there by WB so he can groom him to be the future leader, but he was nowhere close to Queen or Smootie even though we haven’t seen them fight yet. I think Ace was a level below Cracker and Doflamingo, which his bounty actually reflected quite accurately. So Jimbei is on that same level.
something i would love to hear get discussed is that sanji seems to be extra durable this chapter. when the rain of arrows comes down oda made the choice to show how lethal they can be by showing them stabbing someones shoulder, destroying a box, and damaging full sized ships. yet when sanji dives in front of nami they seem to shatter against his body. this leads me to thing he might have sacrificed his cape, which he proved was incredibly durable versus page one, and turned it into a suit to give him a layer of protection besides his, at times, underwhelming armorment haki. i would love feedback and hear if you guys think maybe its his new suit made of his cape, flexing some new armorment haki power, just a gag showing he would take a bullet for nami, or his maybe the arrows just werent that strong.
It's possible Kaido disbands his crew at the end of the arc and Kid recruits King as part of his crew. Then we see the transferring of Yonkou spots to the worst generation and Supernova. I just feel like something has to happen to upset the balance like we WB was defeated.

The monster trio will always be luffy zoro and sanji. It doesn't batter how strong jinbei is. I believe it was the caribou who called them that. I think it's just a nickname oda gave his characters. I personally believe jinbei is stronger than zoro and sanji. He certainly was pts and should still be, its not like her didn't do anything for 2 years. That being said zoro and sanji are still monsters. They're still his right and left hand. They're still the one's who'll jump in front of someone trying to hit luffy. Jinbei doesn't change that dynamic at all.
No, it was Nami who named them the monster trio back in Alabasta when they took out one of the giant monsters. Their strength wasn't far apart for the entire pre-timeskip. Luffy has now set himself apart from Zoro and Sanji with his Gear 4 and new levels of Haki. Besides, it only makes sense for Luffy to jump out far ahead and have 3 commander level crew members as he has to reach Yonko level then surpass that.
I'm glad you pointed out the Seven Samurai reference. That floated in my mind for weeks (I'm a huge samurai drama fan). Plus with the whole Kanjuro reveal might have something to do with Sure Death. I just think Oda watches the stuff I watch. ._.
I think that saying the Kawamatsu/Kanjuro scene was pointless is a bit of a stretch tbh. It was meant to show that Kanjuro got away despite the alliance trying to stop him, which is important because 1) not doing this would make the scabbards look pretty incompetent and 2) it re-enforces the idea that Kanjuro is a stronger character than we had been led to believe at this point (In the present Kawamatsu has always been talked about and framed as though he's one of the stronger Scabbards. Even after sitting in a prison cell for like 7 years and only eating a few hundred calories of poisoned fish per day he was still an extremely powerful fighter right off the bat, and here Kanjuro effortlessly clashed with him with one hand when he's presumably had a little time to recover from his treatment in Udon.)
I don't know why people (including you) insist so much in Ace being the second strongest commander in WB's crew when it was explicit that they weren't ordered by strenght. Ace had the greatest potential in the crew and was probably the one to take as captain when the old man died. But there's no real reason to put him above Vista and Jozu when he was alive, and you could say the performances of both were better in the war.
I agree with basically everything you said, but it’s kind of unfair to rank Ace by his performance in the war. He was nowhere near 100% like the other combatants so it was to be expected that he would be tossed to the side by Akainu... not even taking into consideration the fact that Akainu’s fruit was superior to his own. He did do good against Aokiji, which is more than Vista and Jozu can really say. Mihawk was hardly putting in effort against Vista (shown to be monologuing mid-battle) and the slash that Jozu blocked wasn’t Mihawk’s absolute strongest. It’s unknown if he used Haki on the slash, he never shouted a name for the attack, it was a ranged slash which would undoubtedly be weaker than a traditional close range slash... so all things considered they really *didn’t* look any better than Ace.

Some people have pointed out that in the spread of Oden and the Scabbards leaving to challenge Kaido, a handful of them (Oden, Ashura Doji, O-Kiku, and Inuarashi) are all given more noticeable shading than the rest of the group (with Oden's shading being even more pronounced than the other three.) Interestingly enough, those are the three who have been the most vocal about their desire to sacrifice themselves along with Kin'emon if things play out poorly. We need to protect Kiku at all costs you guys
Now that the hype of seeing Jimbei back has settled down, I see a lot of people wondering if it's really him, of if he's sustained a terrible injury that he's hiding from everyone, or if he'll die during the upcoming battle. We'll have to wait and see in regards to what exactly happened between him and Big Mom when the Straw Hats left him behind, but his introduction is so definitively him that I doubt it's an imposter, and the fact that he's officially labeled their helmsman, and the fact that we see his skills first-hand, it makes me INCREDIBLY doubtful that Oda is going to kill him off so quickly, before we even see his skills utilized while he's actually with the crew. Man, though, I REALLY want to see the next chapter, and see him begin to mingle with the Straw Hats and their allies. I'd also like to add, I've been talking with a few people about Carrot and the odds of her joining the crew. Part of me doubts it, or at the very least, we'd have to wait until the aftermath of the battle to really focus on her, because there wasn't any time dedicated to her during the Wano arc to have her properly joining, whereas Oda gave Jimbei enough time to show off his skills during the Whole Cake Island arc. That being said, I would LOVE for her to join the crew, she's so adorable and has a lot of useful skills that can be utilized while being part of the crew! As for her position, I heard one person suggest that she could be the crew's official lookout. I thought that was a weird suggestion, given that Zoro is typically the lookout, since his training equipment is in the crow's nest, but someone on Reddit pointed out that she acted as the crew's lookout during the Whole Cake Island arc, and it's rare for non-crewmates to fill in for roles that the main crew usually does, since even Vivi didn't do something like that. The more I thought about it, and about her abilities, in particular her ability to jump really high and mid-air jump, and thus being able to reach certain places no other crew member (other than perhaps Sanji) could reach on the Thousand Sunny, the more it made sense to me, so yeah, she COULD be the crew's official lookout... but, again, Oda has to show that he intends to do that for Carrot, and right now this is just speculation and desire of the fans, so until we get something more concrete, we shouldn't assume she'll stick around with the Straw Hats (especially since, while we COULD count Pedro dying as part of the "tragedy" that is associated with all Straw Hat Pirates, we don't know if she has a dream she could fulfill as a Straw Hat Pirate just yet). So yeah, REALLY exciting stuff to look forward to! Can't wait for next week's chapter!

Luffy is still a monster, the whole "new monster trio" doesn't make sense unless you remove Sanji or Zoro to include Jimbei, you can not remove the most monstrous one and keep calling the group monster trio.

Kinemon dying, and possibly the other scabbards (but mainly Kinemon, seeing as he's the leader), would symbolize the end of the old era and beginning of a new one, a coming of a "new dawn" of sorts. With Momo ruling over the country, vowing to make it a good kingdom, in memory of the old folks who fought for any of this to be possible.

Luffy said at the end of chapter 1 he wanted 10 people to join him, he hismelf does not coutn so there's one more to go which at this point now has to be Carrot, she even filled a role since she stoowedaway at teh start of whole cake island, she's the lookout. Also the minks are heavily tied into the history of the world so one of them has to be there when the one piece is found and after Pedros' speech to her about leading the straw hats to teh new dawn of the world there's no one else who could possibly be the final member now but Carrot, she has inherited Pedro's dream, everything thematically fits for her to join since his death also serves aa a part of her tragic backstory now too. If Luffy doenst ask her to join at the end of wano or she doesn't simply stowaway with them again i'll be very surprised. she's had too much build up not to join at this point, she's even on the sunny with the rest of the crew right now instead of being with the rest of the Minks that Inuarashi brought with him.
As for fights it has to be Jack vs. Jinbe for me, the straw hats need to be the ones who take out Kaidou and his top 3, so Zoro vs. King and Sanji vs. Queen better happen. I think the scabbards will probably fight Orochi and the Oniwabanshu. I can see Law and Kidd helping Luffy but i think Luffy has to prove he can deal with a yonkou on his own now so Law and Kidd might get stuck dealing with Big Mom and her brats.
I dunno how Big Mom is going to be involved in the wano battle but i know she's not losing here, her story wont end till we get to Elbaf, her charcter is an enabled spoiled child who has gotten her own way her entire life and suffered no consequences, i feel her story wont come full circle till she reaches Elbaf and learns the truth about what she did to Mother Carmel and the orphans allowing her to finally grow up, lose the hunger tantrums and realise that the dream she wants so bad to fulfill could never have been realised as long as she remained the spoiled selfish brat that everyone has allowed her to be. the truth being revealed to her will be the long awaited punishment she has needed and deserved since she was 5, this should hopefully start her redemption arc into being an eventual ally for the final war since her dream will actually coincide with Luffy's and Jinbe's about everyone being free (Luffy) and equal (Jinbe). Or Maybe she'll just be the main villain for Elbaf and luffy will ko her but i like my full circle theory better.

9:30 That's a big risk Luffy's taking by leaving Momo to his fate just because he believes he'll find a way to survive on his own. You have to put all your hopes on Momo either being able to get away from Kanjuro once they're close to land, which I'd argue why not just rescue him now, or hope that Kaido or Orochi will just detain Momo rather than immediately have him killed when he's brought to them. What if Kaido kills him? Orochi wanted every blood relative of the Kozuki dead and Momo is expected to escape from both of them?
Zoro Sanji and Jinbe can be interpreted as the commanders of land air and sea if you consider Sanji's ability to fly.

When Ace and Jinbei fought Ace was still a rookie he didn't join the Whitebeard pirates yet, let alone becoming a commander. Ace definitely grew in strength significantly after that point, but jinbei already hit his prime his growth would be minor. He was clearly shown during Marineford to be inferior to Marco, and during Whole Cake he was portrayed to be inferior to Katakuri as he was joined by Capone & Pedro to fight him. Also when Smoothie was pursuing the Strawhats, he never thought of staying behind and fight her.
I honestly think that he's around 3rd Commander or slightly lower. But still it's all assumptions.

Jimbei is not 2nd commander level cause Ace wasn’t 2nd commander level. He was just the captain of the 2nd division, which does not automatically mean he was 2nd strongest. Burgess is the captain of 1st ship of BB pirates, but we all know Shiryu is much stronger. Ace was put there by WB so he can groom him to be the future leader, but he was nowhere close to Queen or Smootie even though we haven’t seen them fight yet. I think Ace was a level below Cracker and Doflamingo, which his bounty actually reflected quite accurately. So Jimbei is on that same level.

something i would love to hear get discussed is that sanji seems to be extra durable this chapter. when the rain of arrows comes down oda made the choice to show how lethal they can be by showing them stabbing someones shoulder, destroying a box, and damaging full sized ships. yet when sanji dives in front of nami they seem to shatter against his body. this leads me to thing he might have sacrificed his cape, which he proved was incredibly durable versus page one, and turned it into a suit to give him a layer of protection besides his, at times, underwhelming armorment haki. i would love feedback and hear if you guys think maybe its his new suit made of his cape, flexing some new armorment haki power, just a gag showing he would take a bullet for nami, or his maybe the arrows just werent that strong.

The monster trio will always be luffy zoro and sanji. It doesn't batter how strong jinbei is. I believe it was the caribou who called them that. I think it's just a nickname oda gave his characters.
I personally believe jinbei is stronger than zoro and sanji. He certainly was pts and should still be, its not like her didn't do anything for 2 years.
That being said zoro and sanji are still monsters. They're still his right and left hand. They're still the one's who'll jump in front of someone trying to hit luffy.

No, it was Nami who named them the monster trio back in Alabasta when they took out one of the giant monsters. Their strength wasn't far apart for the entire pre-timeskip. Luffy has now set himself apart from Zoro and Sanji with his Gear 4 and new levels of Haki. Besides, it only makes sense for Luffy to jump out far ahead and have 3 commander level crew members as he has to reach Yonko level then surpass that.
I'm glad you pointed out the Seven Samurai reference. That floated in my mind for weeks (I'm a huge samurai drama fan). Plus with the whole Kanjuro reveal might have something to do with Sure Death. I just think Oda watches the stuff I watch. ._.

I think that saying the Kawamatsu/Kanjuro scene was pointless is a bit of a stretch tbh. It was meant to show that Kanjuro got away despite the alliance trying to stop him, which is important because 1) not doing this would make the scabbards look pretty incompetent and 2) it re-enforces the idea that Kanjuro is a stronger character than we had been led to believe at this point (In the present Kawamatsu has always been talked about and framed as though he's one of the stronger Scabbards. Even after sitting in a prison cell for like 7 years and only eating a few hundred calories of poisoned fish per day he was still an extremely powerful fighter right off the bat, and here Kanjuro effortlessly clashed with him with one hand when he's presumably had a little time to recover from his treatment in Udon.)

I don't know why people (including you) insist so much in Ace being the second strongest commander in WB's crew when it was explicit that they weren't ordered by strenght.
Ace had the greatest potential in the crew and was probably the one to take as captain when the old man died. But there's no real reason to put him above Vista and Jozu when he was alive, and you could say the performances of both were better in the war.
I agree with basically everything you said, but it’s kind of unfair to rank Ace by his performance in the war. He was nowhere near 100% like the other combatants so it was to be expected that he would be tossed to the side by Akainu... not even taking into consideration the fact that Akainu’s fruit was superior to his own. He did do good against Aokiji, which is more than Vista and Jozu can really say. Mihawk was hardly putting in effort against Vista (shown to be monologuing mid-battle) and the slash that Jozu blocked wasn’t Mihawk’s absolute strongest. It’s unknown if he used Haki on the slash, he never shouted a name for the attack, it was a ranged slash which would undoubtedly be weaker than a traditional close range slash... so all things considered they really *didn’t* look any better than Ace.

Some people have pointed out that in the spread of Oden and the Scabbards leaving to challenge Kaido, a handful of them (Oden, Ashura Doji, O-Kiku, and Inuarashi) are all given more noticeable shading than the rest of the group (with Oden's shading being even more pronounced than the other three.) Interestingly enough, those are the three who have been the most vocal about their desire to sacrifice themselves along with Kin'emon if things play out poorly.

Now that the hype of seeing Jimbei back has settled down, I see a lot of people wondering if it's really him, of if he's sustained a terrible injury that he's hiding from everyone, or if he'll die during the upcoming battle. We'll have to wait and see in regards to what exactly happened between him and Big Mom when the Straw Hats left him behind, but his introduction is so definitively him that I doubt it's an imposter, and the fact that he's officially labeled their helmsman, and the fact that we see his skills first-hand, it makes me INCREDIBLY doubtful that Oda is going to kill him off so quickly, before we even see his skills utilized while he's actually with the crew. Man, though, I REALLY want to see the next chapter, and see him begin to mingle with the Straw Hats and their allies.
I'd also like to add, I've been talking with a few people about Carrot and the odds of her joining the crew. Part of me doubts it, or at the very least, we'd have to wait until the aftermath of the battle to really focus on her, because there wasn't any time dedicated to her during the Wano arc to have her properly joining, whereas Oda gave Jimbei enough time to show off his skills during the Whole Cake Island arc. That being said, I would LOVE for her to join the crew, she's so adorable and has a lot of useful skills that can be utilized while being part of the crew! As for her position, I heard one person suggest that she could be the crew's official lookout. I thought that was a weird suggestion, given that Zoro is typically the lookout, since his training equipment is in the crow's nest, but someone on Reddit pointed out that she acted as the crew's lookout during the Whole Cake Island arc, and it's rare for non-crewmates to fill in for roles that the main crew usually does, since even Vivi didn't do something like that. The more I thought about it, and about her abilities, in particular her ability to jump really high and mid-air jump, and thus being able to reach certain places no other crew member (other than perhaps Sanji) could reach on the Thousand Sunny, the more it made sense to me, so yeah, she COULD be the crew's official lookout... but, again, Oda has to show that he intends to do that for Carrot, and right now this is just speculation and desire of the fans, so until we get something more concrete, we shouldn't assume she'll stick around with the Straw Hats (especially since, while we COULD count Pedro dying as part of the "tragedy" that is associated with all Straw Hat Pirates, we don't know if she has a dream she could fulfill as a Straw Hat Pirate just yet).
So yeah, REALLY exciting stuff to look forward to! Can't wait for next week's chapter!
