I hate poker, I never get a good hand, when I discard I always get shittier cards, I get tired of sitting there after an hour or so and it's ALWAYS fucking texas hold 'em. Just like Adam I get bored with it and purposely start fucking up so I can be done with it.
I like Texas Hold 'em, but I hear what you're saying. When I was in college, I'd play with guys in my dorm, and we had a rule where you'd choose the poker variant when you're dealer, and everyone would play one full round of hands with the button going around the table. When it got back to the person on your left as dealer, they chose the next variant.
