leighton is my favourite character on gossip girl. i read somewhere that she said it's hard playing a person who's hated, but i wish i could tell her that i love the character. she's powerful, and doesn't give up or let anything get in the way for what she wants. she is manipulative but she has the best heart, when her friends are in trouble she drops everything. i honestly hope i grow up to be somewhat like her character on gg.

No characters are perfect goodie in this show, but Blair is already too kind enough to forgive her bbf and boyfriend when they cheated on her and still remained friends even after broke up. Gossip Girl was already popular as part of the CW when it first came out on US tv in 2007. But if it came out now , when pretty much streaming (like Netflix) has taken over the world, it would have had an even bigger following(more so than when it first aired in 2007) . It still does today, even though it’s years later and just showing older episodes. Leighton is also one of the most classic and iconic beauties that graced a tv show.
See this is another difference between men and women, who cares about candy cane shoes? Those black nylon stockings with black stilletto high heels look way more impressive.
