For anyone not seeing the Tesla app on Apple Watch, you'll need at least a series 6, SE 2, ultra or newer cuz it only works on watchOS 11-compatible watches. I guess it's time to upgrade my series 5 😭 here's apple's official list of supported watches: Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) Apple Watch Series 6 Apple Watch Series 7 Apple Watch Series 8 Apple Watch Series 9 Apple Watch Series 10 Apple Watch Ultra Apple Watch Ultra 2
@@steeztheday I'm not seeing the tesla app as an option.Latest IOS, Phone is a 15, Pro watch is on OS 11. ETA fixed with a refresh of the apps to be updated which then showed the right version which contains the Apple Watch app

So all you need to do is get the latest Tesla app for your iPhone, and then the Tesla Watch App automatically installs itself.
Any way there will be a function to RELEASE the charger cable? I've got a non tesla charger at home, so don't have the release button on charger. If yes, I might switch to apple ecosystem from Samsung 😂
Worked on my iPhone 16plus and Apple Watch Ultra 2 but didn’t work with my wife’s iPhone 8 Plus and Apple Watch 7 (9.6.3). The “Tesla” selection on the Watch App list on Apple Watch is not showing on the wife’s phone. Does anyone know what minimum iPhone hardware and Apple Watch hardware version are required to use the feature?
Ok guys who is looking for the answers it seems like a version of our watch is way to old to support that feature. That’s what i figured so far. I think to have the app on your watch you need to have at least 12 iOS on your phone. I have an Apple watch 5 and the latest update my watch supports is 10.6.1. So this is it. They want us to get a newer watch
For those asking who updated to the new version but don’t see the APP. Find the Apple Watch app on your actual phone. From the main screen scroll down and press install.
Don't see any Tesla watch app. I have a Series 1 which means I'm probably SOL. Wait updated my wives iPhone to iOS 18 and now the watch app 11.1 is available and downloading.
Works on my wifes watch which is the SE but doesn't work on mine series 1. I believe series 1 & 2 both aren't supported watch Os 11.1. Mine even after updating my phone to 18 the watch still won't update past version 6.3.

If you only have one Tesla, the top left icon replaces with a energy icon. Maybe you can set the charge limit or unlock the cable there.
Install Apple watchOS 11.2 (Beta) first
Good update. Depending on settings you may need to open Watch app on iPhone and install the Tesla app on your Watch.
So weird. I can download and use the app but can’t seem to use any of its features other than look at my cars battery %. Any idea on how to fix this?
Bluey? 🙂 But thanks for the video. I just updated my iwatch and ready to use now!

I am so glad Watch App is here finally. So essential ❤
On Apple's App Store there are 4 different Tesla Watch apps and I can't determine which is the official one.
It’s just the official Tesla app. No other app is required

Will the app notify if someone hit the car?
If sentry mode is triggered yes.
I’m thrilled that when it’s updated my watch will work as a key. Even my solar data on my house shows. Fantastic
Thank you for the tutorial, very helpful!! Mine is working just as you described.
Are there any complications or smart stack widgets for the Tesla watchOS app?
@@StrifePulse yes quite a few and I hope more come. Once the holiday update rolls out to the cars ill do a full video and walkthrough on them
Most or for solar and energy for home. There is 2 for car state of charge. 1 large one and one small one depending on complication size.
@@SandeepSingh-um6cx Mine only shows solar energy complications. Hopefully, there will be more with the holiday update.
wish you could use your watch as a key and does it work over cellular without the phone?
U can when u are near since its connecting via Bluetooth
