When I was a kid in the 1960's in Schenectady, NY, I lived next door to a family whose Mom had 2 old lady friends that had a 1963 Chrysler 300J - it was like a metallic teal in color. I love the front grill on those cars.
I had the option to buy one 3 years ago and passed because the car is huge and I didn’t have the money to fix it up. I let my great uncle buy it, the man who bought it new and always regretted selling the car. It’s in a garage less than .25 mile from my house still getting up to road worthy shape. So I know where one is that’s prob not on that list of 114 known. This one sat in garage after garage in my family since I was a little kid. My dad owned it for over 20 years.

My Dad use to love how this car would lay rubber at 60 mph!
Nice Engine with twin Carburetors option
NO!This was not an option.
These cars truly are works of art. Today's Kia/Hyundai/Acura..etc. junk that all look alike makes me sick!
I always thought the 1963 Chrysler was a complete redesign, but judging from the windshield, I see this was an update to the model starting in 1957.
Have my self the exact same car! Just now starting to restore it slowly.
How far are you.
I have exactly same car.
Would love your feedback.
Tim here.
Thank you for you6 time.
You have a prize car. Chrysler did not kid nor play in that model year. 1963 was such a fine year.
What a beauty! Love that color combo.
I think some these were built with a 4spd manual.... Anybody know?
Cheers

@@brokefarmerjohn2422 I used to have a 300G but always thought the 300J was a super classy car. I've only seen a couple in my lifetime.
Passed up the opportunity to buy a 64 for $1500 back in the summer of 98! Everytime I see one I kick myself
@@brokefarmerjohn2422 ... Put some pics of your car and your uncle's too. ??
Yes ... They are gorgeous 60s Chrislers cars. !!
