- As always super excited for the new update! These are my initial thoughts on the new phobies. :)

I mean the character design on some of these phobies i believe are really awesome and really do fit in well, I do hope some of these phobies get good balances later on too, Omega does seem extremely powerful

I hope they make a spider trap phobie, it just seems perfect
A spider that throws web traps with the Rusty effect (cannot move for 2 turns) does sound really cool.
My personal most wanted would still be a big undead T-Rex though (I love huge phobies) :D
I think whiskers will have a niche in countering traps for 2 less keys than doom doom and its ability to see traps is just as valuable as doom doom's.

ohh shet benny 3 keys.... i can already see stabby and boomangles with benny combo...XD whiskers .... already needs a rework detects can absorb trap and attack stats of the trap will add to whiskers for a turn or 2 downside if he doesn't detect a trap and then stands on a trap whiskers wont be able to absorb it..... tri volta maybe change skill like leepricarn skill 4 distance put remove 1 action of 1 phoby...
Gotta disagree with you about Whiskers. Doomdoom is not played much because it's a situational phobie that costs a lot and provides little more than trap detection and a bit of bulk. Whiskers is 2 keys cheaper (which is quite a big difference for small maps) and has a better movement type that lets it get around obstacles and provide a bit of utility in doing a bit of damage after hopping in.
Not to mention how prevalent unicorn is which this would be very effective against, allowing you to avoid having to guess where the traps have been laid.
It's not the best phobie by any means, but it is certainly not worse than Doomdoom. I'd rate it as a high C tier phobie as ultimately it's job will only be applicable to matches where a trap phobie has already been deployed.
Man I wonder when they're planning to add a new common phobie...
Yea kind of sucks that they didn't do that - Guess they need to earn money too, but still. :P
Probably wouldn't even change the amount of spending tbh...
I wonder how omega can get countered, maybe brony?
Maybe, if you power down their team the Omega does become useless - Could probably also beat it with Akira if you do a really good combo turn.
Will have to see what people come up with. :D
My rating of the phobies from best to worst with tiering would be:
High A tier- Benny
A tier - Skinwalker
Low A tier - Sabian
B tier - Ash
High C tier - Whiskers
Low C tier - Tri-Volta
D tier - Ace
Low D tier - Omega

Omega seem bad. I think no one is gonna use it. Key cost too high, cd too long, probably just rush into them if they spawn omega, only good in big map. It also cant defend itself and be useless for 4 turns after buffing.
We'll see... I think it will be very powerful
I honestly son't think the key cost is high for the effect at all. :P
If you rush at people after they summon Omega you will be obliterated unless you kill like half their team - It only has a 1 turn lock so it can buff the turn after it's summoned. I think if you hit 3 allies it's okay, 4 it's strong and 5+ it's kind of broken - Which is why I said I think it will be nuts on large maps. :)

i dont think ace is good we have sparky for that
Ace deals way more damage than Sparky, I think it may be useful as a duel phobie against large mechs in the later stages of a game where both players are low on resources.
That said I don't think it will be super insane or anything - When it was revealed some people reacted like it was as bad as Fishtank though. 😅
I think it will be niche, but not useless.
