I looked at the Steve Madden website, and it is for that. I personally don’t put my earphones/AirPods in them (I tried and it looks bulky). My EarPods on my keychain. I use the pouch to store my eyeglass cleaner and bandaids.

Ohhh okay I have the Beats Studio pro earphones and the car is more of an oval shape . The pouch works perfectly for me .
