Great video. Though I do not think the catfish are responding well to the feed apart from the last pond. The reason is disturbance from the drainage of water. Second is introducing cold water every day. Catfish are warm water fish so introducing new water everyday is a disadvantage to the fish since the water you will ever be introducing is cold water. You may change water everyday but you also have to look at other factors including temperature. Lastly catfish do well in a larger water body like 10 m^2 And prove me wrong if those fish reached 1 kilogram after 1 year.
Thank you sir for the video ,sir please(1) the bathroom bath how many fish is advisable to stock inside till table size,(2)and when I sort to the bath the few I have inside don't like eaten .please help sir
Did this work? Especially the ones in the big bowls...I have something like this in mind cos of space. How many litters are those bowls and how many fish can they take to maturity?
Thanks for your information, but I Rilly want to know how bad is the water smell if I drain it daily. I have no drainage so I want the water to flow on the streets pls what's your advice?
It depen on the size of ur farm. But generally it's not advisable to drain water on the street... It's a form of environmental pollution. My advice is for u to dig a whole of about 6 feet withing ur compound and channel the water there. Hope that helps
Hello, pls I have 3 questions. pls can u help me with that? 1. can u drain all the water from the tank? if yes, how? if no, won`t that contaminate the fresh water u put in? 2. Are the fingerlings, especially the juveniles, not going to be stressed out after draining the water daily? 3. How many table size fishes can the 1000 and 100 litres tank take?
Yes u can drain all water, depends on the type of pond u are using.you can go through my constructions in my play list...there u will see how I design a 1000 litters tank that can have the entire water drained from the pond. A 1000 litters tank can take a Max of 100 fish to table size. Even if a little amount of the dirty water remains ...it won't be too bad as to affect ur fish after adding fresh water. Although, the fish can get stressed out but that will not cause their death, they can survive without water for some period of time, depending on how old the fish is. Hope that answers your questions.?
Sir you don't feed your fish immediately after changing the water. For those that don't have adequate water supply to be changing everyday don't spread on the water and leave it, it will Polute the water and affect them
true, but that can only be the case when the quantity of food on the water is much than what they can consume within few minutes after u dropped them. some little particles are expected to remain in the surface for slow feeders to prey on them when the fast feeders are done eating. just moderate the amount left over after feeding to avoid pollution. thanks for ur contribution.

145 liters, you can't train the fish in such bow to table size, it's just a nursery pond. you will need a bigger pond
@@julibenfishacademy427 oh...was wondering same thing...thank you

How many fishes were in the 800 liter (orange) tank??
can't remember was quite long now...but the max capacity it can carry is 100 fish to table size
@@julibenfishacademy427 thanks a lot for the reply sir
After draining the water, when do you feed them? And how many times a day?
It depends on the stage they are, juveniles eat 3 times a day, jumbo eat 2 times a day, table size can eat at least once a day
The big tummy is as a result of overfeeding in most cases
How many catfish in 1000L
If u want to grow them to maturity then u need a maximum of 150 fish in a 1000 litters capacity. Though 100 fish is just perfect.
