What materials did you use for the Slatboards? I just got my cabinets and I want to install the slat board. Looks like if they are 12 inch boards it would need 3 high? I see that you have an odd one at the bottom?

My unit comes Friday. Can the stationary cabinets be placed on the ends?
Yes, however I felt that the workbench was much better supported with the stationary cabinets placed in the middle.
