This didn't work at all. My Samsung TV cannot see my Fire stick. All this video did was to tell me to turn everything off and on again. Who doesnt already try that!!! Waste of time.
@@speedsocialmarketing8447Going through this with my xbox and my firestick litteraly no signal for no reason. My amazon remote won’t even turn my tv on no matter how many batteries i replaced. My friend brought his xbox and it worked perfectly fine. So now i think i have a fucked xbox and firestick, but good think it’s a smart tv so i guess the smart apps will do for now but this is pissing me off.

Didn't work...have two TVs with separate fire sticks. Both went out at the same time, both won't let me set the correct HDMI input on the TV; internet service is OK. No idea what is causing this!
I got a little futher this time but when I select "input" the source list pops up & its on "tv" - but I can't arrow down to select an hdmi port. Thank yu for your video, you take your time through each step so I can follow along.😊
Last step was my issue - TV thought it was HDMI3 when it was HDMI1 - changed that and voila ! Fixed. Thanks for the video - helped me solve my problem.
No difference. The short cable is an adaptar in case you physically can't get the stick in the TV. Connect the cable and now the stick can lie flat next to the TV.
Thanks! But what help me was readjusting the firestick device that is plug into the back of my TV. I guess I have a bad wire after moving up and down my firestick worked. 😅❤👍🏼

To be honest, it actually really worked. I have a fire stick connected to a Vizio TV and it worked perfectly. Thank you.

What does it mean when it does work at all and youve tried different tvs and different hdmi ports? What would be wrong with the firestick?

We don't need the extender thing, do we? Can't we just take that off and plug the Fire Stick directly into the tv?

Try this. On your firestick do this Settings> Display & Sounds> HDMI CEC Device Control 👈🏾 make sure that is turned off. See if that helps.
