Last year, many small post offices were closed in Hungary, leaving many people without a post office within reach. The state and Magyar Posta Zrt. also wanted to involve local governments in the operation of small post offices, while at the same time shifting the responsibility for postal closures to them. In our video we asked the man on the street in Szombathely about the postal closures, their causes and the responsibility of local authorities.
