i really like how it uses only three colors for basically everything. the lights and shadows make such a beautiful graduation for painting. i cant stop appreciating, i need this more

That is a slave ship from 1776 carrying two hundred slaves, packed like sardines . Making its way to America. Women were placed in front of the ship and the men were placed in the back of the ship. That ship must have been at sea for 2 months on making its journey.
@@SidewayzX14 The ship is made up by the painter and it's up to the viewer to use their imagination to determine want they want to be on that ship. It's whatever the viewer wants it to be, for instance..I picture a mom, dad, some kids and a dog taking a vacation and you see a slave ship 🤔

Sometimes with painting u just have to go with the flow and see what comes from it if u have an idea in ur head it’s much easier to just let it flow rather than trying to get the perfect image with pencils first as I find that causes frustration a lot to me anyways
Manju Roy Practise makes perfect dearie stick at it and you’ll be just as incredible and confident with your painting I assure you I used to get really frustrated with painting because I tried to plan ahead but you never really anticipate what it’s going to look like and the process of getting there until you’ve done it a million times free hand and you can just paint like a pro. Glad to be of help.

Without pencil lines you have the full freedom and space to think and see how your painting turns out( I think sometimes it surprises the painter as much as the audience) But I still prefer a few pencil lines here and there for making sure there's everything you wanted. BTW, when did you leave your job at Hogwarts?
Absolutely love this painting! I’m a painter myself. This is quite beautiful. Acrylic paint is my favorite. This was actually helpful to learn some different techniques.

Your ship was first a vague blur...It began to take form, slowly, it gained definition until at last it became solid reality. But the pristine white moonlight & the cotton-clouds along with dark prussian blue skies helped to retain the dreamy night view. It was almost poetry. I only wish the night was darker and the moonlight less bright😉😉😉😊😊☺☺ This old ship with its blue sails is carrying two lovers as it sails across the calm blue waters in the moonlight...
