Agree with the distribution and releases part in the beginning. MGA NEEDS to focus on their main brands and stop releasing a whole bunch if nothing like mini verse or even with just Bratz, all the random collabs. Bratz is a fashion doll brand and that's what they should focus on, especially even now more than ever since the demand is so high and OMG/RH are being slowed down. The releases feel a bit half a$$ed and even a bit cash grabby at times. From quality control to release dates not being followed/releases taking forever to bad advertising to terrible distribution/not enough quantities. It's frustrating to think about how MGA themselves is holding Bratz back to reach their full potential in some ways. They need to get their stuff together and as I said before reconsider their priorities, at the moment they are their own biggest problem. This has been an issue for 2 and a half years now and it needs to be fixed, otherwise Bratz won't be able to make their comeback... Oh also, the absence of Sasha currently and as you said Babyz having better promotion, distribution, no issues whatsoever...like bruh. The deluxe reproduction of TAGG was supposed to be released in the end of Fall 23...but then was changed to Slumber Party(very inferior) and pushed to Spring 24...MESS MESS MESS
And on the dolls, them cutting the second outfits is so weird...dgmw I understand that this is what's popular at the moment or at least the base requirement for playline but the 2nd outfits are a core part of the Bratz identity. It's an essential part of their mix and match brand. And then the first outfits aside from Yasmin are hideous IMO😭 It's giving a mixture of First Edition, Hello My Name is... and OMG😭 At least all the base dolls are stunning and fully articulated😌💅
CLOCK👏🏽IT👏🏽!! I fully agree. Bratz is in their own way and I just want to shake them bc some of their practices for this current iteration are NOT IT. Clothing collabs got old way too quick and it still seems like they prioritize them even when the clothes are just random items that don’t even scream the brand. These other endeavors are cute I guess, but when it seems they’re getting more attention than the dolls is when it gets so frustrating. Like it’s already bad enough that Bratz only produces a couple of doll collections at a time and then go silent for long periods of time before we get another release. We don’t need little trinkets, BABYZ MINIS, and novelty stuff in between bc they lowkey serve kind of like a distraction from the dolls themselves. Again it’s cute when it’s not taking attention away from the dolls, but then looking at the future line up of dolls compared to the other stuff, it seems like they’re focusing a lot of attention on the wrong thing. The fact that slumber party is also delayed is so disappointing bc, unless the rumors are false, we’re waiting all this time in delays for ONE OUTFIT and whatever accessories that they pick and choose from to repro all for a $35 price point and it just seems so wrong. I get prices for things have changed, but at the same time you’re a big company and you shouldn’t repro things you can’t fully reproduce. Repros like GNO that were missing pieces soured a lot of ppls thoughts. And even though the brand has come a long way I do also feel that somewhat half a$$ed energy especially when it comes to the Alwayz dolls not having a second outfit. I want to give the benefit of the doubt, but everyone’s clocked how odd of a decision it was. Idc if that’s what monster high is doing, it feels a little weird. And a part of me wonders if they just cut around corners and gave us the outfits from this new artwork without having to think of another design for a second outfit, if that makes sense. Like I get the design team isn’t the same as the one from their prime, but something about the absence of the 2nd fit feels like a cop out? Dgmw I’m grateful to even see Bratz get a new line, but it’s a thought. I’d love to be proven wrong about this in a future new play line release if we even get another. There’s such a demand for Bratz like plz stop the shenanigans.
I gave Jade layers and shortened her hair, I don't know why she was advertised as a hairdresser and has possibly the most boring hairstyle of the core girls. Kinda want MGA to give us a wolf cut jade or a hime bang jade. That would be so fun
I agree! The only connection w/ Jade and hair i can remember off the top of my head was when she came with hair care in slumber party, but other than that I don’t remember it being much of a trait of hers! I bet your jade looks so pretty now and she would definitely rock either of those hairstyles!❤️
