I think the guy is telling the truth about having ace king. He reads you for ace king or pocket 10s. The call is close for 10s there because he still can have Jack's thru kings. He also has pocket 7s alot of the time more than the Jack's thru kings. So it's probably true the ace king. I've been in these spots myself on both end and I make the bet thinking it was similar hand of ace king vs ace king. If he actually chose that line as a lie to hide his hand it's a bit to mathotical and detailed. In the end it's close to call or fold.
Also people normally don’t lie, there’s really no need to. What I don’t understand is why bet the turn and bloat the pot if you don’t plan on calling the River when any cars lower then a 10 comes. Might as well go into check call mode if you aren’t planing on calling on a brick river.
I’ve made that same bluff with AK all the time. People can’t pull the trigger and make that call enough times for me to stop. If you play passive poker then people gonna keep betting
@@johnnywang206 I've actually pulled this bluff one time as well. I ended up being against JJ. I had AK. I raise he raise pre flop to 30 in 2/5 I raise to 110 he flats, flop was 3 4 6 with 2 hearts I bet 130 he calls, turn 8h, I check, he bets 225, I call, I had Kh, and river was a bring 7s and I lead out for 380 and he folded JJ lol.
Wolf, when you bring your music score, it's a little hot on the mix. Every time it comes in on the intro and in the middle of some of your videos, my speakers just distort. Can you just bring it down a little on your mixdown? Thanks.
With 55 I would have ob the turn and bet smaller, maybe 2/3 otr. Villain has possibility to improve ott, but has to hope you are either bluffing or overplaying otr. The 8 doesn't really change the board much, whereas the 5c adds some straights and straight draws as well as a second fd.
check/call seems best to me, unless he bets really small (blocker bet size) then check/raise. However, since you have a dynamic with this player and feel you can get value with your not so great two pair, by all means check/raise any size.
That's what I thought on that pocket tens hand. That just seemed so bluffy. He could've had missed hearts or called with devious plans for the river; thinking that you weren't too strong, and he could take it.
I think he was full of it too lol it reeked of a value bet on the river. he could have had a set maybe AA or KK? just heard you say you put him on AA or KK while typing this lol great stuff glad to see you post all your sessions win or lose. makes me feel better about losing LOL ..... be safe out there! BANG!
Villain in the pocket 10s hand definitely had AA or KK. The $800 lead on the river is too small to be a bluff. The $800 makes sense as a blocker bet to try for thin value, where he can fold if you raise him.
Hey Wolfgang! I'm looking into starting a poker vlog of my own. Do you have any tips/advice you'd share for a new comer? Also, are the graphics of your cards, pot, flop, etc. created by yourself or do you use a template?
Gotta call that River with TT for that price when the turn plays the way it did, if he’s playing a trap with JJ or QQ there, just pay him. That line is a thoughtless bluff way more than 25% of the time. CALL!
6:55 you 3-bet AQo out of position against two players and get two folds - that's a *great* outcome, Alex. Do you wanna play AQ in a bloated pot against two other people? Yeah, me neither. Pot ends preflop, no (or small) rake, no miserable T-5-4 or K-8-3 flops. Life is good.
He absolutely had AK. If he had you beat he check raised you on the turn. He lead out 1/3 pot blocker on river brick. 😱 bluff to me. But what do I know I'm only a .02/.05$ crusher.
I believe the guy had pocket QQ,he said he thought you had AK. I think he had you on A♥️K♥️ and didn’t want to shove the flop essentially, flipping. He called your turn bet, thinking he’s gotta dodge over cards and hearts. After the river he’s just value betting, hoping you would call him with whatever you had. I think you were beat. QQvs10-10! Possibly,KK !
10:58 If your coach had any hair, he'd be pulling it out now. Ben *hates* folding against you. He's looking for any excuse whatsoever to call. You target is all his queens and his good tens - and you should bet three streets and taking him to value-town two counties over. I'm glad you caught it in V.O., anyway.
Why would he lie about having AK? It was a successful semi bluff(in his mind since he put you on AK). IMO the lie would be "I had AA or trips, good fold". I believe him. Was really hoping you called after the checked turn.
I would guess he had AA, but you never know unless they show the hand. I never ask another player what they had to be honest because its irrelevent. If i wanted to see the hand I'd put in the money.
Very cool playing and chatting with you Alex , and cool to see my straight flush with the 10h 8h that I played because you played the exact same hand earlier .
I believe him it was the only way he could win was to get you to fold, you just got out played. His line did not make any sense so like Mariano says when it's close he makes the call.
I felt that the A-K dude was bluffing. His net was too big. If her were betting for value I believe that his bet would have been smaller noticing a call from you. Instead he over bet causing you to fold the winner.
First you're picking off a QJ bluff on the turn, then QJ promptly becomes the nuts on the river. If you go for a check/raise there and he 3-bet shoves it in you face, you gonna be a sad-face Alex. Bet half pot and pretty much snap fold to a raise.
Also I believe him. That lie was too elaborate. If he was gonna lie he would generally just keep it to oh well I had AK and I didn’t think A high was good so I bet to try to make you fold. Also, to say I was trying to get you off a chop is way too specific.
If he had AK like he said why didn’t he show? It’s easy for anyone to talk bollocks when the hand is mucked….and it’s usually done by weaker players. “What did you have?” “Oh nothing,I bluffed you” ……yea right.
This just popped up on my feed… look at how far you’ve come bro. Congrats
This one was a banger. Good playing with you again Alex!
I think the guy is telling the truth about having ace king. He reads you for ace king or pocket 10s. The call is close for 10s there because he still can have Jack's thru kings. Another poker guru 😂
Should call with the 10 10 hand.
AK-guy's comment at the end: hilarious!
You were late and missed the Bad Beat jackpot for 164k. It hit at that table too Alex...
Until we meet again...
haha thanks for reminding me...
I'm hoping to see you Friday...
Resident from Battle Creek checking in. Hope you had fun in our city!
Was good meeting you last night at Mad River. Let me know when you come out to Graton.
When that heart draw misses on the pocket 10s hand I think I’m calling every time
not sure how you folded pocket 10s there, it's at the top of your 4-bet calling range preflop and it's one of the best boards for you.
Loving the aggression and sizing preflop, Alex :D Keep it up bud, see you Friday!
see ya henri!
Wolf, when you bring your music score, it's a little hot on the mix. Every time it comes in on the intro and in the middle of some of your videos, my speakers just distort. Can you just bring it down a little on your mixdown? Thanks.
Wolfgang come through to parxs in Pennsylvania. So some of your New York fan base can come
come to fort wayne indiana and play at the elks charity casino!!
Which drone are you using and how high it can go ? It looks pretty good.
On the draw heavy board, over pair should have bet on the turn. He had AK. Don't play scare.
I'll see you Friday wolf!

Buddy Wolfgang “Bang” must make as your Trademark 😊. Good luck in your meet up game.

I never check if there is a potential flush draw on the board. With top pair I am gonna always charge those draws.
I know that lil Ben guy, he plays a lot of premium hands like 45... hes probably a degen too
I'd go with option A. as sort of a blocker bet just in case he had that JQ holding you mentioned.
no intro song???
i like keeping the viewers on their toes haha
I believe the Man,😎,All good,you played 🔥as always
I thought he might have missed a draw. Hearts bricked. I dunno if I would have made the call though. Tough spot
Villain in the pocket 10s hand definitely had AA or KK. The $800 lead on the river is too small to be a bluff. The $800 makes sense as a blocker bet to try for thin value, where he can fold if you raise him.
Lead out. Don’t risk it going check check. If he raises you, consider folding that hand.
Hey Wolfgang! I'm looking into starting a poker vlog of my own. Do you have any tips/advice you'd share for a new comer? Also, are the graphics of your cards, pot, flop, etc. created by yourself or do you use a template?
Your 10 8h hand I definitely bet the river. I’ve missed river bets SO many times to have them check back and not get any value.
That guy with AK is exactly who you want your game
Council Bluffs, IA has a pretty nice room at the Horseshoe!
i should try to get out there!
Cool to see you at the local casino. Wish I could made it
Have fun on your trip. Need to go flying when you get back to Baltimore or Philly
100% im down!
never miss always here on time
Hey you :) Another fun vlog... And I would have gone Option A - 1/2~2/3 pot size bet to get some value out of the probable winning hand
thanks will!
AK, sureee
I think it's a call with the 1010.
I know the AK guy... He definitely was bluffing lol
He prob did have AK.. his line of thinking makes sense for him to have AK.
-also it’s a great spot to bluff catch “him”
I am not brilliant by any means Wolfie ...but that check on the turn with pocket kings was a terrible terrible decision
yupppp
Yes .. 'he' can have AK/AQs in the TT hand, but you wouldn't know that .. we play XYZ poker, not ABC.. AA-QQ raise Turn .. sigh call at FK
Yoooo you look like Justin Beiber with that mustache 🤣
He had AK. I was sitting next to him and I accidently happen to see his hand.
I wonder if a smaller size might have induced a raise... Maybe 25% pot, guess it depends on the opponent ✌️
I was the other player in that pocket 10s hand, preflop folded 99 😒 U can imagine how gross it was for me watching the hand play out, oh well
Dude is no way telling the truth! I'm putting him on pocket 3's or pocket 4's! 😊
Gotta call that River with TT for that price when the turn plays the way it did, if he’s playing a trap with JJ or QQ there, just pay him. That line is a thoughtless bluff way more than 25% of the time. CALL!
I would of called. I think he had A,K. Love the videos
Let's go? Where we goin?
I have played poker with the $800 bluff guy several times. He wasnt lying, that’s exactly how he plays and it never makes any sense.
I think he had Ace King. If you did re-raise that flop bet, he probably would have folded
I feel like AK guy has no reason to lie there. He seemed genuine.
Yep..if he has AA or KK he bets turn
Yeah he definitely had AK. You gotta call there. You gotta believe your reads.
Alex, he didn't put you on AK, you suggested he put you on AK and he just agreed, yeah AK or one medium pair, same thing.
Come on Alex - ABC poker - always be calling LOL
gotta lead out for value here. if anything it will look like a bluff and will get called down with a weak ace

Possibly,KK !
You have to call that $800 on the river. If he had an over pair he would’ve been betting on the turn not checking
All day long..... Baffled and surprised TT was folded. That said, we all have done this before so it is what it is.
10:58 If your coach had any hair, he'd be pulling it out now. Ben *hates* folding against you. He's looking for any excuse whatsoever to call. Very cool playing and chatting with you Alex , and cool to see my straight flush with the 10h 8h that I played because you played the exact same hand earlier .
crazy how that works, nice playing with you as well!
I think in the 10/8 hand bet big ur extremely disguised.
Omg I can't believe you fold pocket tens there I'm sick to my stomach
😩😩😩😩😩I'm calling that $800 you better show me🤨🤨
check and call and wtf is "free money"..is their no drop in this house ?
T8: Check raise. Ben is an aggressive player, and will probably bet here.
I would have definitely bet over pot
Option A
Need to change the title to “I get bluffed off a $4,000 pot”
Option C. I bet 220 on the river.
I believe him it was the only way he could win was to get you to fold, you just got out played. His line did not make any sense so like Mariano says when it's close he makes the call.
00:05 that neck GADAMN
first hand you HAVE TO BET THE FLOP imo. you let him get there for free lmao
5:53 check it over
He had pocket 9's
don't believe anyone at a poker table who tells you what they had after the hand...lol
Nah he had it, just planned to make a move calling the turn.
I felt that the A-K dude was bluffing. His net was too big. If her were betting for value I believe that his bet would have been smaller noticing a call from you. Instead he over bet causing you to fold the winner.
Hi bet I meant to say!! Loo
It's about strength and power not the hand
I would bet pot! Hard to put you on two pair on the river.
I think it’s bad fold even if he got the winning hand it’s 800$ to win 3000$ with big chance you have the winning hand
Lead 1/2 pot
Don’t trust a poker player
never haha
First you're picking off a QJ bluff on the turn, then QJ promptly becomes the nuts on the river. If you go for a check/raise there and he 3-bet shoves it in you face, you gonna be a sad-face Alex. Bet half pot and pretty much snap fold to a raise.

Where's the $4k bluff???
Bottom line....... it doesn't matter what he had, he won the pot.
no lies there
Hey I've lost money there!
If he had AK like he said why didn’t he show? It’s easy for anyone to talk bollocks when the hand is mucked….and it’s usually done by weaker players. “What did you have?”
“Oh nothing,I bluffed you”
……yea right.
I think i’d raise
Idk why he would lie to a worse hand to your fold lol?
I'd lead out and bet 1/3 pot
1 for 2…
He won one.
You won one.
Two.
I will bet 35% if he check raise. You might able to fold easier..😂
It is loo-uh-vil or even just loo-vil. Anything like that is way better than loo ee vill.
