I read scarlet, cress, and winter beforr cinder bc cinder wasnt availalable when i was at my grandparents in india and that was rhe biggest mistake of my life. I enjoyed cinder very much when i finally got it and fell in love with it but i wanted to read it first bc that wouldve given me a proper introduction. However, i was impatoent. And an idiot. And stupid. XD So good for u u fell in love with it in the correct way lmfao
Alex Grace! The only place I personally know where it’s less than that is Book Depository (around 91 dollars for whole main set plus two extra books also from the series). But if anything, just buy cinder first, read it, then go out and buy Scarlet and so on :)
Eek! I love this series so much!!!!! I'm so sad I finished it!!! My favorite character was Cinder! Love how Marissa Meyer writes books! Like if u love Kai
ughh just bought the caraval first 2 books... currently shipping and now I really want to purchase this series! p. s. I buy books at its lowest price 😂
YES some Winter love! And Cress and Thorne are so perfect together. I've heard from a lot of people that they don't connect with Marissa Meyer's writing style; I really enjoy it but I'm glad you had an even better experience upon rereading! I recently reread Fairest for a reading challenge and still didn't enjoy it much BUT I am really glad I read it? I definitely agree about it being an important part of the series. I find it really impressive that Meyer can write a villain origin story that doesn't just turn her into a misunderstood character, BUT I still feel for her, you know? Like, I don't think she's justified at all, but I do sort of understand how she became the villain she is; I think it gives her depth without excusing her behavior. Really enjoyed this review! I've been wanting to pick up the series for a reread since it's been a while.
Winter and Jacin have my heart forever! Their storyline was everything I've ever wanted. 😍😍 I read everything in the same order and also really enjoyed it. :) And I'm so with you- getting resolution after the big battle is so rewarding and I wish more authors did it. It makes all the pain it took to get there feel more worth it.
They were adorable, but I'm a true Cress/Thorne fangirl forever now haha. Oh my gosh, I loved all the resolution and happy storyline after the battle. I loved seeing all my little babies flourishing and happy.
I first read this series on 2017. Come 2023, I've forgotten EVERYTHING about the book except for the 4 main characters (100% only because theyre the book titles lol) ... AND i am so grateful to have read this book AGAIN for the first time. I know I enjoyed it when I was 17, but really forgot all the plot. And Cress is still my favorite character :) ANDDD i reread this book series right after I reread The Hunger Games for like the 4th time (bc ive also forgotten a lot of the details) and YESSS i agree. That part in Artemisia really felt like the Capitol, so much similarities. Cinder is even the same as Katniss, the GIRL ON FIRE, but in different ways lmao.
Haha this is my first time reading and I’ve been looking for an order to read them for like an hour. Marrisa Meyer recommended a different order, but a lot of the short stories were left out. I’m just looking for a way to read that doesn’t have spoilers for the first time. 😂
I only read cinder and I am wondering about in the next book it is gonna focus on scatlet but will cinder be there just a few pages or really like main side character aaand is Scarlett gonna be the only pov we see in the book or the books are getting crowded like scatlet has more pov but cinder is always there and she tells it too then cress comes she os main character but cinder ans scatlet is always there and telling the story with her?
i know this is a year old, so chances are youve already gotten your answer, but on the off chance you still havent read scarlet, then I’ll tell you that it does focus on the title character and her story, but it does switch POV every so often to cinder, and their stories do collide. similarly with cress and winter, the pov switches allow everybody’s stories to be told in ways that continue to interweave
So in my country there aren’t books in english so they translate it to my native language. And there is only cinder, scarlet, and cress translated does story stop? Do I have to read winter too? Because I don't think they will translate it 🥺
Winter is the conclusion. The last book. So I don’t think you’d get a full story arc without it unfortunately 😢. Maybe the books are bound up differently though.
I haven’t read the School for Good and Evil, so I’m not really sure if it’s a good comp. But, if you like space and fairytales and romance and action, you will probably enjoy the series.
I do not have a review. I read that series long before I joined book tube. It was fun while I was reading it, but I hasn’t stuck with me over the years. I don’t know if it’d hold up if i reread it now.
I just finished reading Cinder AND I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED SO BADLY.ITS KILLING ME.

Hi I just found out about this series and can’t find the set besides for 130$ where did you get your book set from?

That last Stars Above story was the happiest thing I've ever read! Marissa Meyer blessed us.
I hate graphic novels as a general rule but i loved wires and nerve i swear i would read anything by marissa
I’ve been a fan of this series for years and then forgot about it. Didn’t realize there was a graphic novel! I’ll need to go read that!
I read the full series in like a week and a half
Same it's so addictive

My favourite is 100% Cress
This made me want to reread it and read the side books as well!!
Loved these series!!!! My favorite character has to be Wolf lol

MY TWO FAV SERIES. I saw the Selection Series in the back and your reviewing my fav series. I hit subscribe so fast my thumb hurts 😂
Aww yay!! ☺️ Some of my faves too.
Oh gosh I loved the selection series but the MC was SO FRUSTRATING but I just couldn’t stop reading it

I am a huge Potterhead and also im a fan of Percy Jackson series...plss tell me.. Will Lunar Chronicles be a good story for me
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE iko

If u can handle the School For Good and Evil books, you would love this!
So, Fairest and Stars above, are side books? I thought they were apart of the first 4 books
Yes, they are both companion books. Fairest is technically a prequel and stars above is a novella bind up.
So in my country there aren’t books in english so they translate it to my native language. And there is only cinder, scarlet, and cress translated does story stop? Do I have to read winter too? Because I don't think they will translate it 🥺

Maybe you can read Winter and the side books online, there are many websites that have them
Cinder and Katniss: The Girl on Fire :)
i LOVED the school for good and evil, would I also love this series too? Thinking of buying this!
I haven’t read the School for Good and Evil, so I’m not really sure if it’s a good comp. But, if you like space and fairytales and romance and action, you will probably enjoy the series.
You must read them.. period.
I see The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel books searis , do you have a review about it ? did you like it ?
I do not have a review. I read that series long before I joined book tube. It was fun while I was reading it, but I hasn’t stuck with me over the years. I don’t know if it’d hold up if i reread it now.
I thought this was spoiler free???
Where did you listen to the audio books?
I checked out the audiobooks from my local library on Libby. They’re also available on Scribd too.
