Former Chief Government Whip and Canadian Forces Lieutenant General Andrew Leslie has declared in an interview in the National Post last week that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “is not serious about defence.”
He added that Canada’s allies in NATO are “despairing,” and the Americans are “frustrated.”
