That is a good way to do it. Now another excellent mouse catcher that surprised me. I was cleaning up the chicken coop, when I moved a feeder with oyster shell about a dozen scattered. The chickens had all but a couple in quick order. NOW-I don't believe I would bring them in the house LOL
If you use dryer sheets you know the 1 that have a sweet smell if you put them in you house where you think they will be they will never come on like your dresser doors there making beds on your cloths I put them in the grarge in my tool box all over in my grarge like in your house under your dresser and where they can hide mostly cloths blankets lining closet you will never find 1 again you just tuck 1 sheet in each drawer the dont like the sent I stuff them in my mower my harley I used to have my cabinets in grarage soon as they smell them there gone you just have to look and think like they do there looking for bedding but dryer sheets work the best i have no mice in my grarge or down stairs in my house they look for old boxes they chew and make bedding to prove my points if you would have just stuck a dryer sheet where you found the mice they would have been gone in a day they dont like the smell of them they wont even try to come close good luck try them like your food storage cabinets they will go every where under your couch in you cloths closets a couple a day they will stay away the will leave you house belive me my grarge is free of mice have a nice day
